Long overdue gift for a wedding celebrant from some great friends.
This is an Alabama Damascus wave pattern blade with Yaya wood (White Wenge) handle materials. Very appropriate that the handle materials bear the same traditional name as the couple (at least sounds the same). Thanks Gennine and Jasmine.

Finally getting back to knifemaking after taking some time off for real life. Have had several on the work bench for a while and I am glad to be able to get these finished. This is a pair of custom cleavers for the up and coming Bookhaus Meat Company. Alabama Damascus Steel blade steel with brass handle pins and Texas Mesquite handles. Glad to be back at it.
