Colorado Chaos felt like the right place for us this weekend.

We weren’t able to get our roster filled enough for sanctioned games, but Denver and FoCo still wanted to skate with us, so we hit the road anyway. Sometimes you just make it work.

We’ve got some of our younger skaters stepping up, a few borrowed friends helping fill out the bench, and a whole lot of willingness to roll with whatever the weekend throws at us. (Tori the Terrible is especially ready.)

At the end of the day, we came to skate, learn, and spend time with people who love derby as much as we do. That’s never a bad trip.
