SAN ANTONIO DRAFT: Championship Preview | Fall 2025
It’s finally here — the finale of the Fall season and the last title game of 2025.
Tonight we get a dominant, undefeated Team Kyle vs a surging Team Noah, who look stronger than ever after their Final Four win.
TEAM KYLE — The Machine
They’ve beaten Noah twice already (by 9 and 10). One of the only teams to keep it respectable.
Led by Kyle Schaeffer & Sam Gallardo, plus the powerful frontcourt of Davon Beckert & Kai Johnson, this group has no weak links. All five guys play both ways, with “H” setting the tone defensively.
If you had to nitpick, they’re shooting a league-low 29% from three (39 total makes). But who needs threes when you get stops and run the floor all game?
TEAM NOAH — The Wildcard
Their 6th-round pick Demetrius Davis finally suited up last week — and instantly changed everything.
His presence added defense, shot creation, and energy. Noah looked like a completely different team, rolling to their most dominant win of the season.
They’ll be undersized tonight, but they’ll counter with speed, shooting, and perimeter defense, and Davis gives them a new dimension they didn’t have in their previous losses to Kyle.
Team Kyle is the favorite…
but Team Noah might have the best chance anyone’s had all season to deliver an upset.
There’s been plenty of chatter in the Captain Group Chat… 👀
Does Kyle finish the perfect season?
Or does Noah shock the league to close out 2025?

SAN ANTONIO DRAFT: Playoffs | Fall ’25
We’ve reached the tail end of the season and the most exciting chapter begins TONIGHT.
A Play-In. A Final Four.
By 10pm, we’ll know who’s fighting for the crown next week. Let’s break it down.
**7PM — 4/5 Play-In
Team Big E (5) vs Team Feeney (4)
Rumor has it Big E will suit up tonight, but the squad may be rolling in with just five bodies — and missing a few heavy hitters. After a one-win regular season, they enter as major underdogs against a deeper, more balanced Feeney group. Anything can happen in a one-game elimination…but whoever survives has a tough turnaround ahead, with Team Kyle waiting in the wings.
8PM — Team Kyle (1) vs Winner of 4/5
No need to over-explain this one: Team Kyle has been a buzzsaw. Undefeated. Dominant. Machine-like consistency. They’ll get either a tired Feeney team or a short-handed Big E squad, fresh off a war. Fair to say they’re expected to punch their ticket to the Championship. If it is Feeney, at full strength they could’ve made this interesting — but tonight won’t be that scenario.
9PM — Team Chris (2) vs Team Noah (3)
Without disrespect to the earlier games… this is the matchup of the night. Team Noah avoided the Play-In with a gritty OT win last week and has the talent to go the distance. Team Chris, on the other hand, is heating up at exactly the right time — a perfect blend of scoring, spacing, and perimeter defense. Can Josh Linson and Jeremy Heath continue their dominant two-way play? Or will Manny Paz and Landon Fuller swing the momentum and claim that finals spot?
Either team can win this one. And that’s exactly why we love it.

SAN ANTONIO, DRAFT: Power Rankings | Week 6 | Season Finale
(With all the gambling and illegal betting scandals going on recently, we decided to use this gem of a photo, starring and in what most definitely looks like some “under the table” action)
📸:
1 - Team Kyle (6-0)
They’re locked and loaded into the top spot! After an impressive undefeated season, they’ll await the winner of the Play-In game to complete the Final Four bracket.
2 - Team Elhad (1-4)
They finally got one! And in prime fashion as it went down to the wire! Sure, Team Chris was on the second leg of a back to back, but a WIN is a WIN! Zach Muniz led with 23pts. They have a chance to prove it was no fluke this week, as they face Team Chris again.
3 - Team Chris (2-3)
They were one point away from breaking the “back to back” curse...of which no one in league history has come out of 2-0. This is the closest anyone has gotten, and truthfully, we were rooting for it! Big possible revenge game coming against Team Elhad, as a win guarantees the 2 or 3 seed, but a loss could have them in the play-in.
4 - Team Feeney (2-3)
They were edged out by Team Chris last week, in what was a pretty competitive game between a lot of former teammates on both sides. Davis Tucker led with 17pts. They’ll fight for a top seed against Team Noah tonight, as a loss pretty much guarantees a play-in appearance.
5 - Team Noah (2-3)
Tough break against Team Kyle last week, as they’ll now fight to avoid the play-in against Team Feeney. Rumor has it, captain Noah will be missing, which adds to the adversity. Still though, they’ve got a talented team even without him, we’ll see if they can get the job done.

SAN ANTONIO, DRAFT: Official Standings | Fall 2025
We’re off next week (Happy Thanksgiving!), and we’ll conclude the regular season the following week. Some playoff seeds are locked, but we could see some movement between some others.
With 5 teams, the 4/5 seeds will have a “play in” game, followed by the Final Four.
Let’s see where we stand so far...
1 - Team Kyle (6-0)
Locked. Team Kyle completed the un-defeated season, and will await the winner of the 4/5 play in.
(3-way tie between the 2nd-4th seeds as of now; final seeds will be decided in Week 7)
2 - Team Chris (2-3)
Lost to Team Feeney, Team Kyle, and Team Big E.
A win against Big E in Week 7 guarantees a 2 or 3 seed. A loss could put them as low as 5 if Team Feeney also loses, or 3 if Team Noah loses (tie-breaker over Team Noah if needed).
2 - Team Feeney (2-3)
Lost to Team Kyle 2x, and Team Chris. They’ll see Team Noah in Week 7; a win guarantees the 2nd seed (point differential tie-breaker against Team Chris if needed). A loss bumps them to the 4 seed.
2 - Team Noah (2-3)
Lost to Team Kyle 2x, and Team Chris. A win guarantees the 2 or 3 seed. A loss could put them at the 4 seed , and possibly the 5th.
5 - Big E (1-4)
Not quite locked into the 5th seed, but they are locked into the “play in” game. They’ll get a rematch against Team Chris in their finale, and a win should bump them into the 4th seed.
***Crazy Scenario: If Team Chris and Team Noah lose, there will be a 3-way tie between Chris/Noah/Big E, with each holding tie-breakers over each other. (Chris over Noah, Noah over Big E, Big E over Chris.) Point differential will be used to decide order from there.
Chris +4 over Noah.
Noah +29 over Big E
Big E +1 over Chris (for now, they play again in Week 7).
Enjoy your turkey!

SAN ANTONIO, DRAFT: Power Rankings | Week 5
1 - Team Kyle (5-0)
A perfect season so far, and they’ll conclude tonight against Team Noah. We got to witness a potential Finals match last week against Team Feeney, in which Team Kyle made easy work. Davon Beckert led with 30pts/11reb. They’re locked into the 1 seed, but will they complete the undefeated season tonight?
2 - Team Noah (2-2)
They got back on track against Big E in Week 5, & Josh Linson stuffed the stat sheet with 33pts/5reb/9ast. Tough test against Team Kyle tonight!
3 - Team Feeney (2-2)
At just 2-2 this season, Team Feeney has suffered some attendance issues so far. We’d like to believe they’re capable of more based on their roster, but the best ability is availability. They’ll get a chance to get back on track against Team Chris.
4 - Team Chris (1-2)
They had their second bye last week, and they’ll get the dreaded double-header this week against Team Feeney and Big E. So far, no team has come out clean when tasked with 2 games...can they be the first?
5 - Team Big E (0-4)
Historically, this may be the lucky week for Big E. They’ll be playing an understandably exhausted Team Chris on the back end of 2 games, and that alone gives Big E favor in this one. Justin Brickman has given a slight boost so far, scoring 21pts in their last game.
***Also, shoutout to our cover photo athlete, for making it through the season un-traded.

SAN ANTONIO, VET: Summer 2025 | Champs
CHAMPS!!! 🏆
Team Dan secures the victory over a tough Team Mark, after a longggggg Summer Season that is finally behind us!
Both teams were favorites to meet in the Finals, and both held their end of the bargain despite a tumultuous double-elimination format.
Stats will be up soon via , but we can pretty much guarantee that the Finals MVP was none other than .
Sam Gallegos
Congrats fellas!
We’ll look to table the VET Season until the new year; the official date hasn’t been decided yet, but expect a weeknight moving forward.
Thanks to all who played!

SAN ANTONIO, DRAFT: Power Rankings | Week 3 | Fall 25’
5 - Team Elhad (0-3)
Tough break for them, as Andrew Eudy is set to miss the entire season. There’s not too many that can replace exact value, but help may still be on the way. Luckily for them, all teams make the playoffs, or the “play-in” at the very least. They’ve held their own in each game so far, but a little boost could get them in the win column.
4 - Team Noah (1-2)
Week 1 can be chalked up to missing players. Week 2 was the bounce-back, and Week 3, they simply lost to a better team. Despite the losses, this team is still in the mix, and definitely has the talent to contend. Josh Linson is leading the stat sheet, averaging 18pts, 9ast, 5reb.
3 - Team Chris (1-1)
After clearing Week 1, they nearly upset Team Feeney in Week 3. Despite the loss, this should give them confidence, and send the league a message as well. Rookie Landon Fuller is averaging a double-double with 19pts and 10reb.
2 - Team Feeney (1-1)
Originally pegged as the team to beat in the pre-season, they’ve split their games so far. A win over Team Chris gets them back on track, and they’ll face a struggling Team Big E tonight. Davis Tucker and Jamell Bradley are leading the charge as predicted as they look to stack wins.
1 - Team Kyle (3-0)
So far so good for Team Kyle. They’re favored to extend their win streak tonight against Team Chris, who shouldn’t be taken lightly. Big man Davon Beckert is averaging 18pts and 10reb, and Kyle Schaeffer is averaging 18pts and 4reb.

SAN ANTONIO, VET: Double Elimination | Round 2
4pm (Losers Bracket)
Team Pat vs Team Gabe
With both teams dropping their first games, the loser of this game goes home, while the winner survives another day. Team Gabe dropped a tough one to Team Dan, with Davon Beckert and Aaron Thomas both contributing double doubles in their attempt. Team Pat got the feel-good win over Team Bryan, but ultimately lost due to an incomplete roster. In their last match up, Team Pat ran away with the win...will Team Gabe get revenge?
5pm (Winners Bracket)
Team Ted vs Team Dan
This should be the game of the night, and despite the marquee match up, both teams can afford a loss due to the bracket (not that either of them want that). Team Ted won by nearly 30 points in the last game, and are the favorites to take it again. Team Dan was a little undermanned though, and if fully rostered, may be able to restore balance....
6pm (Winners Bracket)
Team Mark vs Team Bryan
With both teams taking care of business last week, they’ll get a chance to advance. This may be the best spot to be in, due to the fact that the loser will play Team Al in the next round. Team Al has had trouble winning lately, and becomes a very winnable game for whoever the loser may be. Team Mark has all the makings of a contending team however, and is favored in this match up.
