Can you do it ALL alone?
Many people who are doing their weight loss and fitness journey believe as such
In most cases, when this type of thoughts are hanging around, youโve already arrived in an interesting place emotionally
Maybe you are feeling emotionally strong and all, but in truth, you are lacking emotional clarity. You are not able to see or you refuse to see the challenges that are about to happen (or that have already taken place)
And because of that, you believe by pilling up everything on your shoulders, your life will now start to be better
May want to rethink that one a little bit

It is not uncommon to see people struggle with their weight loss and fitness journey
It is not unusual to see those same people talk about what could be better if they only had the โright support systemโ

Because you are someone who is serious about your weight loss and fitness journey, youโve probably took a few notes here and there (but hopefully more often than that) about how you are doing, fearing, liking, etcโฆ..
But, when is the last time you used your notebook for boundaries purposes?
For example, youโre invited to a potluck at your work and you know many will be talking with you about your weight loss and fitness journey, either positively or not so kindly
Having that notebook with you allows you to recenter if you are feeling pressured to eat what you are not supposed to or it can provide you with all the confidence in the world because youโve taken the time to write down your thoughts before end

What happens if you are a restaurant owner or a manager who has a challenging time being held accountable?
It may sound counterintuitive because you are taking care of and helping so many people, how can you not be held accountable?
The truth is when your lack of decision making is seen as an issue or that you are putting more importance on controlling too much the process of making decisions, you can easily fall into the category of having a challenging time with the accountability concept
Retrospection and asking yourself (and others) questions regarding your accountability tendencies is often a great way to see and understand what accountability has meant to you up until now

In life and in your weight loss and fitness journey, youโre often being told to do what you have always done. However, sometimes it comes a time when you start realizing this method of thinking or this way of doing has become outdated
From that understanding, it can become overwhelming to attempt to think it through and see everything that needs to change. But, it can also feel like a relief. A relief because you are finally seeing the mistakes you have done and you are now understanding how you can overcome them

This picture is so telling. As they say, there is a huge difference between wanting to change and wanting change
When you are wanting change, your level of winningness is high
However, the concept of wanting to change is a very volatile concept. There will be times when you are going to be all in with wanting to change while there will be days you are simply not into it and you no longer want to change
As you can see, the concept of wanting to change is not a concept that is reliable
But, when you want change, then you are willing to do what it takes to make that change happen. And that makes all the difference

The crazy thing is you are not alone with that belief
If you are not emotionally connected or if you are too emotionally connected (unable to see nor understand the logic at the time) then there is not much you can do in that moment

More than likely, you have been putting great effort into your weight loss and fitness journey. Some people have seen it all while others have not seen a thing. Which means, it can be easy for others to not understand the vision and goals you have toward your overhall health journey
Because of that, self-regulation is a must for you
Any words or actions that donโt appear to fit the script can (and will) be distorted or confused with something else. The sooner you learn to navigate all of that, the better you'll become at self-regulating yourself, but also helping others understand you a little better

You will frustrate yourself while others will frustrate you. What you want to remember is that yourself and others have emotions. The road to taking care of yourself may not always come easy for you. Sometimes, you have to attempt various weight loss and fitness methods. But, once you find what works for you, you just keep going and going. This is exactly what Delysia is doing. She is pushing forward. Congrats for being 45.6lbs down!!! Letโs give her a big cheer!!!
