Salt came up short in a competitive match to Woodlands II in our first match. Our 2nd match we fell behind quickly to Plano but with great team effort came back to win 22-19. What a privilege and joy to coach these boys after not even knowing if we would get to play this year! Great support from families! One of the pictures is all our seniors.....going to miss you guys but hope to see all of you play in college or a club team!

Salt played hosts to the Woodlands on this monsoon day. Kickoff delayed for an hour as we waited for the field to drain off. No one came prepared with snorkels! First half started with a lot of pressure from the Woodlands side. Salt absorbed the pressure and after a kick and chase Salt was awarded a penalty try. Tackling the man without the ball. Woodlands scored 2 trys to close out the half up 10-7. Second half Woodlands took advantage of any Salt mistakes and scored 3 more trys for a deserved win 29-7.
The good news is that we will meet them again in the championship tournament in the first match May 15 in Austin! Nice turnout for such a weather day.
