There’s something special about the start of a new week.

Not because Monday is magical, but because it gives us another opportunity to start fresh.

No matter how last week went, this week is yours to write.

Over the next few days, you’ll challenge yourself, celebrate a few wins, laugh with friends, and probably surprise yourself once or twice along the way.

You’ll leave class a little stronger than when you walked in.

A little more energized.

A little less stressed.

And by the time Friday rolls around, you’ll look back and realize it wasn’t just another week of workouts.

It was a week of keeping promises to yourself.

A week of choosing your health.

A week of investing in the person you’re becoming.

That’s why we love what we do.

It’s never been about checking a workout off a list.

It’s about walking out of the gym feeling better than when you walked in, and carrying that feeling into the rest of your life.

So make tomorrow the start of a great week.

We’ll be here, ready to coach, encourage, and celebrate every win along the way.

Let’s make it one to be proud of. 🥳💪🏽

This week’s challenge: The Baseline.

For Time:
500m Row
40 Air Squats
30 AbMat Sit-ups
20 Push-ups
10 Strict Pull-ups

At first glance, it looks simple, just a short “for time” test.

But at Oso, we know better.

This isn’t about moving fast at all costs. It’s about answering a more important question:

How hard can you push while still moving well?

Can you maintain your standards when your heart rate climbs?
Can you stay disciplined when fatigue sets in?
Can you keep every rep honest when the clock starts demanding shortcuts?

That’s what makes testing meaningful.

The goal isn’t just to finish fast.
The goal is to move with intensity without compromising quality.

Because real fitness isn’t just about capacity.
It’s about control, consistency, and composure under pressure.

This week, test your engine, but more importantly, test your discipline.

Move well. Push hard. Leave no doubt.

The past few days didn’t go as planned.

Between busted water lines, an electrical fire, and the holiday weekend, we found ourselves with an unexpected break from the gym.

And while the time away may have offered a chance to recharge, I think it reminded us of something important: what we do here is about so much more than just workouts.

It’s about the routine and momentum that come from showing up consistently. It’s about being part of a community that pushes, supports, and challenges you to be better. It’s about stepping into an environment where, for one hour, the noise of the outside world fades and your focus narrows to the work right in front of you.

There’s something powerful about that.

You move. You breathe. You get uncomfortable. You compete. You grow.

And somehow, you leave feeling better than when you walked in.

That’s what we’ve missed.

And that’s why we’re excited for this week.

Week 6 is here, bringing with it a fresh opportunity to reset, refocus, and get back to doing what we do best. There’s no need to make up for missed days or chase perfection, just come back ready. Hungry, grateful, and excited to work.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
We hope you enjoyed time celebrating with family and friends.

We’ve been away long enough.

Let’s get back to work.

See you all tomorrow!! 🫶🏽💪🏽

Competition and life have a lot in common.

Neither always goes according to plan.

Both will test you.

Both will challenge your preparation, your mindset, and your ability to stay composed when things get hard.

Pressure has a way of revealing what’s beneath the surface.

It exposes weaknesses, but more importantly, it reveals strength.

That’s why we train.

Not just to get fitter or stronger, but to prepare ourselves for the moments that ask more of us.

Yesterday was a powerful reminder of that.

We watched our athletes step onto the competition floor and embrace the challenge with courage, grit, and heart. We watched them trust their preparation, stay present under pressure, and rise to the moment.

We also watched our community show up in a big way. The energy, support, and encouragement throughout the day mattered more than you know.

And, what stood out most was seeing something bigger than ourselves.

Athletes from all across San Antonio came together through fitness.

Different gyms.

Different backgrounds.

Different stories.

United by a shared respect for hard work and growth.

That’s special.

We’re incredibly proud of our athletes, deeply grateful for our community, and inspired by the greater San Antonio fitness community.

Fitness is alive and well in our city, and that’s exciting.

It means people are showing up.

Choosing hard things.

Investing in themselves.

And becoming stronger together.

And if yesterday reminded us of anything, it’s this,

There’s something special happening in our city

And we’re just getting started. 🥳🚀

There’s something special about Friday.

You can feel the week behind you.

The early mornings.

The hard workouts.

The reps you fought through.

The effort you gave when nobody was watching.

And maybe the results haven’t fully shown up yet.

Maybe the scale hasn’t moved.

Maybe the mirror hasn’t caught up.

But don’t mistake silence for lack of progress.

Something is happening.

You’re getting stronger.

More resilient.

More confident.

You’re building a version of yourself that doesn’t quit when things get hard.

And that kind of growth doesn’t always show up right away.

But make no mistake,

It’s there.

So take a moment today and be proud of the work you’ve put in.

Be proud that you showed up.

Be proud that you kept going.

Because one day, you’ll look back and realize these were the days that changed everything.

Keep going.

You’re building something special.

Nobody sees the 4 a.m. alarm.

Nobody sees the workout you almost skipped.

Nobody sees the meal you packed instead of grabbing what was convenient.

Nobody sees the nights you went to bed early because you knew recovery mattered.

Most people only see the result.

They notice the weight loss.

The muscle.

The confidence.

The energy.

And then they ask,

“What’s your secret?”

They’re usually hoping for something exciting.

A hack.

A shortcut.

A magic formula.

But the truth is almost always less glamorous.

You worked.

Quietly.

Consistently.

Patiently.

That’s the beauty of real progress.

It doesn’t need validation while it’s being built.

So keep putting in the work.

Keep showing up.

And when the results come…

You won’t need to announce them.

People will notice.

06/23/2026

We see it all the time.

Someone walks in after a long day.

Work was stressful.

Sleep wasn’t great.

Energy is low.

They almost didn’t come.

But they showed up anyway.

And somewhere between the warm-up, the first few reps, the struggle, the sweat, and the final fist bump…

Something shifts.

They leave feeling better than when they walked in.

Stronger.

Lighter.

More energized.

More like themselves again.

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t the workout.

It’s simply walking through the door.

And more often than not, that first step ends up being the one you needed most.

If today feels heavy, come train.

You might be one workout away from turning your whole day around.

See you here!!

06/22/2026

Most people think confidence comes first.

It doesn’t.

People often wait until they feel ready, motivated, or confident before challenging themselves.

But that’s rarely how it works.

We see it all the time.

Someone walks in unsure of themselves.

Nervous.

Intimidated.

Not fully convinced they belong.

Then something starts to change.

They hit a weight they never thought they’d lift.

They finish a workout they once would’ve avoided.

They do something that used to intimidate them.

And you can almost see it happen.

They stand a little taller.

Carry themselves differently.

Speak with more certainty.

Because strength does something most people don’t expect.

It changes more than your body.

It changes the way you see yourself.

Confidence isn’t something you magically wake up with.

It’s built.

Rep by rep.

Set by set.

Proof by proof.

And once you realize you’re capable of hard things…

You stop doubting yourself so much.

That’s the real power of strength.

Not just looking stronger.

Becoming stronger.

If you’re waiting to feel confident before you start…

Don’t wait.

Start building proof.

We’ll help with the rest.
