Texas Youth Football State Championship Series is about bringing the league champions throughout Tex The TYFSCS will begin with the 2015 Fall Season.
Texas Youth Football State Championship Series Inc., was founded to crown a true State Champion in each age division. Texas has a diverse number of youth leagues, and all if not most, crown their league winner as State Champion. TYFSCS inaugural year will provide for the organized playoff of teams who participate in a age based no-weight limit league or grade based. Teams that may be a age based o
r grade based no-weight limit but have a weight limit restriction on ball carries may still qualify for the championship series. The age groups will cover 8U, 10U, and 12U. (9U, 11U and 13U ages will be analogous to the primary divisions with minor age exclusions). The grade based will also be analogous using the ages of players rather than their grade. See the website to see how the 9U, 11U, 12U, and Grade based will be made analogous with the primary age groups. The State is divided into 4 regions, 16 champs from each region from each division will play to reach the State Championship. Championships will be played in San Antonio. To be eligible for the Championship Series, teams must be a registered member of TYFSCS by September 15th of that Fall Season, and a the team roster must be turned in by October 1st. Membership is on a annual basis. To advance to the series, you must first be a member of the TYFSCS, and 2nd you must be the champ of your leagues age or grade division. The Texas Youth Football State Championship Series entry is limited to teams who are members and play within a recognized league in Texas. No tournament teams or All-Star teams are eligible to participate.
