We were 20 participants for the Jodo Seminar of San Antonio, led by Steve Sensei from SoCal Jodo
People from Dallas / Fort Worth Kendo & Iaido Kyokai, Houston Kenshikan ヒューストン剣士館, Corpus Christi, Seattle, and of course SaiunKan ⛅️, met at the Bulverde Community Center to practice together and share their passion for Jodo ✨
Hope to see you all again very soon, in California in June, and in Houston in December.

🌞Hi Everyone, it's official!🌞

The weekend of June 6-7, 2026 there will be a
Jodo seminar and exam for grades up to and including Sandan
at Butokuden Dojo in Irvine, CA.

Butokuden Dojo is conveniently located near John Wayne Airport. Hotels, restaurants, and local attractions are located nearby. Lodging is also available at the dojo (complete with kitchen, restrooms, and showers) for $20/night.
