This Fourth of July, the Valero Alamo Bowl proudly honors the men and women who serve our communities while celebrating America 250 and the enduring spirit of our country. This year’s celebration will continue at the Cavender Auto Group Hero Hut Tailgate on Dec. 29, as we welcome all service members and their families for a FREE tailgate on game day!

As we look to celebrate Armed Forces Day this weekend, the Valero Alamo Bowl proudly honors the men and women who defend our freedoms and is excited to expand its partnership with Veteran Tickets Foundation - Vet Tix to provide memorable experiences for local military families across our community. Thank you to all our partners dedicated to helping the Bowl salute our service members each and every year!

We conclude the annual Bowl Season Football conference in San Antonio with gratitude for the valuable insights shared by our bowl peers and guest speakers, and for everyone who helped showcase what makes our city so special.

We kicked off this year’s Bowl Season Football annual meetings yesterday by giving away $33,000 in grants to three local teachers and schools in partnership with Bowl Season and Extra Yard for Teachers!

The also reached our 200th teacher grant since the start of the Extra Yard for Teachers program in 2021 💚
