⚾️ ON THIS DAY IN LITTLE LEAGUE HISTORY ⚾️
June 6, 1939 — a date that changed youth sports forever.
On a specially built field at Point Park in Williamsport, Little League Founder Carl Stotz watched a dream become reality as Lundy Lumber faced Lycoming Dairy in the very first Little League game ever played. When the final out was recorded, Lundy Lumber claimed a 23-8 victory, launching a tradition that would inspire generations of young athletes around the world.
What started with just a handful of kids and a vision for sportsmanship, teamwork, and community has grown into a global movement. Today, Little League brings together players from across the world, and the competition remains remarkably balanced—historically, U.S. teams have captured about 40 Little League World Series championships, while international teams have earned approximately 37 titles, proving that the love of the game knows no borders.
From that first pitch in 1939 to the unforgettable moments we witness on our fields today, every game played carries on the legacy of those original players who simply loved the game of baseball.
86 years later, we're still building character, creating memories, and bringing communities together—one game at a time.

Today is National Repeat Day!
Repetition is key in any sport.
Baseball isn’t built in one big moment — it’s built in the thousands of little ones. ⚾️
The same swing. The same ground ball drills. The same footwork. The same hustle. Over and over again.
Because repetition creates confidence, consistency creates discipline, and discipline creates greatness. 💪
Champions aren’t made when the crowd is watching… they’re made in the repetitive work nobody sees.
What's yours or your athletes favorite drill/exercise to put on repeat?
