💗Featured Member—Leslie Ahrens!💗

Leslie has been part of TFSA since 2023 and has taken nearly 700 classes. This month, we’re celebrating an even bigger milestone with her: Leslie is a recent breast cancer survivor. Please join us in congratulating her! 🎉

Leslie spent seven years as a labor and delivery nurse, followed by 11 years in pharmaceutical sales. These days, you might also find her at Memory Lane in Alamo Heights. She’s a graduate of Texas A&M and earned her nursing degree from UT Health San Antonio.

What keeps her coming back to TruFusion? The variety of classes, the instructors, and a schedule that works for everyone—even those early morning regulars. Her favorite is Monday morning Kettlebell Core: “It sets the tone for not only the day, but my whole week.”

One more fun fact: Leslie has an identical twin sister who lives just five minutes away. If you think you’ve spotted Leslie twice in one day, you might be right! 😊

Outside the studio, Marcela is a Senior Solutions Analyst in healthcare with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Inside the studio, she brings the energy, encouragement, and one seriously powerful ride!

“My favorite thing about being an instructor at TruFusion is creating a space where everyone can challenge themselves, have fun, and leave feeling stronger than when they walked in. There’s nothing better than watching the energy build throughout class and knowing we all showed up for ourselves.”

Her advice for new instructors? Be yourself.

Dancer. Fitness instructor. TruFusion front desk team member. And a proud graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations.

For Violet, the best part of teaching at TruFusion is the community. She loves being surrounded by people who are committed to becoming the best version of themselves and believes there’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone leave class feeling stronger, more confident, and proud of what they accomplished.

Her advice to new instructors? Be yourself. Your community will naturally connect with your energy. Play the music you love, teach in a way that feels authentic, trust your instincts, and don’t let those first-day nerves hold you back.

If you’re taking one of Violet’s classes, know this: she doesn’t expect perfection—only effort. 💙 Her goal is to create a space where you feel encouraged, challenged, and supported every step of the way. She’ll push you because she knows you’re capable of more than you think, and she’ll be there cheering you on from start to finish.

“I’m older than most of the girls in my classes, but it’s important not to get intimidated by that! You can always slow down, and the instructors will show you different ways to accomplish the same exercise. You go in, do your best, and you’ll always be motivated by every instructor.” ❤️‍🔥
