Hi Families, Tabitha here. I want to address recent statements and clarify the facts regarding communications with the Westcreek HOA.
For the record, I have made no threats and have not accused the HOA of damaging our property. My communications have been direct and factual, but not threatening or aggressive. I am willing to provide the complete email correspondence between myself and the Westcreek President to anyone who would like to review it firsthand.
I have also reviewed the current contract. It does not state that Westcreek is responsible for Wahoo property, does not reference insurance, and does not require us to provide the Board with resident/non-resident information. We have been cooperative and willing to provide information, but we will follow the written terms of the agreement.
Regarding the team’s equipment, we were initially given four days to remove the lane lines and reel, which was later extended to seven days. The Board was kept informed throughout the process. We complied with the deadline and moved all equipment yesterday using three trucks and a trailer. It is now safely stored at another property.
To be clear, we have not stated that the HOA would refuse to renew a contract. Our concern is finding a reasonable, sustainable solution for storing and transporting equipment that has historically been kept at the pool. The Wahoos are operated by unpaid parent volunteers who also have jobs and families. Regularly transporting and storing this equipment is a significant logistical burden.
(The Wahoos are a NISD summer league and all other communities that host these teams allow for storage at the pool.)
We want the Wahoos to continue and remain open to reasonable, long-term solutions. We simply ask that any discussion of this matter be based on the actual contract, written communications, and verifiable facts.
Finally, because statements concerning me have been made in writing that I believe are inaccurate and potentially defamatory, I am seeking legal advice regarding how to proceed. I will not engage in personal attacks or speculation, and I encourage everyone to review the actual documentation before reaching conclusions.
I am happy to provide the complete contract and email correspondence for transparency.
