Please welcome to our Coaching Staff our New Head Coach for Texas Reds Post Grad Fall 2026 and beyond: Coach Gavin Machado. Coach Gavin Machado's extensive collegiate playing experience and successes makes him a solid choice for leading program into our future. Coach Machado's love for the game, his baseball IQ and his heart for seeing our young men develop made him the prime candidate for this new season of Texas Reds Post Grad.

Coach Biography:

Gavin Machado brings a strong playing background and a passion for development to the coaching world. A Houston native, Machado was a standout at Clear Brook High School, earning First-Team All-District, First-Team All-Greater Houston, Second-Team All-State, and Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American honors. He was also a Team MVP and Houston.

Over his collegiate career, Machado played at UTSA, Panola College, Galveston College, JSAO, and Our Lady of the Lake University. He consistently contributed both on the field, and in. the classroom, being named to multiple All Academic Teams. His highlights include leading.

Galveston to its first regional in over a decade, hitting over .300 in consecutive seasons at USAO, and earning Second-Team All-Conference honors in his final year at OLLU.
Now transitioning into coaching, Machado is dedicated to passing on the knowledge and experience gained from 7 years of college baseball. With a foundation in leadership, high-level performance, and academic excellence, he is committed to helping athletes grow on and off the field.

Commitment Alert!

It is great pleasure to announce that Beau Martin OF 2025 from Bracken High School (Texas Reds Post Grad SATX) has committed to Morningside University Sioux City, Iowa. Beau will take his game to the North and show those Iowa Dudes how we do it down here in Texas. We are fired up for Beau having the courage to go where he is wanted and in a program that will make room for him to grow. Beau has healed nicely and has made big strides in his strength, speed and his swing. It's never a quiet moment with Beau in the room. We are going to miss his personality and his playful character. We are proud of you big man. We are so glad you came through our program. Let's gooooo!
