Because of the generosity of our supporters, volunteers, families, and partners, Project SMASH continues to turn compassion into action. From providing scholarships through our Dance to Heal program to serving families through our partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank, we’re creating opportunities, building connections, and making a difference one life at a time. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us prove that when a community comes together, we can create lasting impact through service, movement, and love. Sometimes ministry looks like counseling sessions, support groups, and housing. Other times, it looks like a beautiful couch, new curtains, and a handyman with the skills to make a house feel like home.

Recently, someone generously donated a beautiful couch and curtains for one of our reintegration homes. We cannot always accept furniture donations because we have limited storage, but now and then God aligns the right gift with the exact need at the perfect time. We are so grateful.

At the same time, God answered another need. After putting out a request for handyman help, we were connected with . Frosty has been such a blessing! From the little repairs that tend to pile up to the projects that help keep our homes safe, functional, and welcoming, he has tackled each task with excellence and care.

We often say that restoration takes time, trust, and community. It truly takes a village. We thank God for the generosity of those who give, the people who serve, and the many gifts and talents that are shared to help create spaces where women can heal and rebuild their lives.

What a beautiful picture of the Gospel: out with the old, in with the new. Not just in our homes, but in our hearts and lives through Jesus Christ.
