Wow what an amazing weekend in Seattle. I am very grateful for my time at the University of Washington. It is an honor to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. A big thank you to my family, friends & teammates for coming out to support me. It was an incredible experience to share with my kids too.
I loved getting to go on the field with them, hitting with the Husky Women’s tennis team & recreating the picture of me showing them my poster. Many of you have asked to see my speech. Below is the Youtube link. My section begins at 23 minutes 20 seconds. It finishes at 39min 22 secs.

I am really looking forward to presenting with Alistair Higham at the USPTA West Coast Conference on May 22nd. Our topic is
"Understanding the demands of the game - Match Flow and Momentum"

Tennis matches are dynamic events which go through phases as the match develops. Sudden changes can occur when momentum surges. The aim of the presentations is to explain the nature of competitive matches, and how developing players and parents of players can think about competitive tennis. Part of a wider, very comprehensive work on Match Flow and Momentum, this serves as an introduction to the wider work whilst offering some practical tips and drills for coaches.
