💦 Got a water-loving kid? Come try water polo in August!

Water polo is a great team sport for kids who love the water — building water confidence, strength, endurance and teamwork along the way. Our athletes consistently stand out in Junior Guards and lifeguard programs, from crushing swim tests to graduating at the top of rookie classes.

San Clemente Water Polo is a tight-knit local community and feeder program for San Clemente High School, where kids can grow up playing together from elementary school through high school. We offer girls-only and boys-only teams, top-level coaching, and a pathway from learning the sport through Olympic Development and national-level competition.

Free clinics & tryouts are coming up, and Fall registration is OPEN from Splashball through 18U!

Go Girls! Tomorrow, our 14U Girls begin their Junior Olympics journey — two of the seven San Clemente Water Polo girls teams competing at JOs this summer!

Over the past few weeks, they’ve sharpened their game through hard practices and competitive scrimmages with neighboring clubs, while also making time to recharge together — at the beach, over dinners, and with a little friendly competition on the mini golf course. It’s all part of preparing for the biggest tournament of the summer.

We’re proud of our 14U Girls and all the work they’ve put in this season. Good luck to all our girls teams from 10u-18u— we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! ❤️🖤

🥈 CIF High School Championships | 2nd Place

As we wrap up another summer club season and prepare for the fall high school season, we’re looking back at the growth and accomplishments of our 16U Boys.

A 2nd-place finish at the CIF High School Championships was the culmination of months of hard work, perseverance, and commitment to one another.

Congratulations to our athletes and coaches. We look forward to cheering on continued success at Junior Olympics and throughout the high school season this fall.

Congratulations to all of our athletes, coaches, and families on a weekend of great competition across the US Club Championships, Futures Super Finals, and Spa League. From championship-level competition to valuable developmental experiences for our youngest athletes, every team continued to grow as we build toward Junior Olympics.

An impressive qualifier weekend for our teams.

We’re especially proud to have had 11 teams competing in SoPac qualifiers across every age group in both boys and girls divisions.

Multiple teams advanced to the semifinals, and two advanced to the finals, making this one of the strongest qualifier weekends in club history.

Looking for a fun, active and team-oriented sport in San Clemente? Love the water?

San Clemente Water Polo offers a supportive local community, experienced and invested coaching, and one of the strongest developmental pipelines in the area — from beginner athletes all the way through high school, Junior Olympics, and beyond.

This is a great opportunity for young athletes to try the sport before the Fall season kicks off with formation of new 10U Boys and 10U Girls teams.
