All 26 Triton Varsity teams qualified for the CIF-Southern Section Academic Awards that were announced today! 19 Triton Teams Finished in the Top 10 - led by BASEBALL (3.69), Girls' soccer (3.73), Boys' Wrestling (3.46) and Girls' Wrestling (3.50).
Our Triton Baseball Varsity Boys missed out on First Place by .0003! Way to Go, SC Triton Baseball!!! 🎉⚾️❤️

CONNER SHEAKS Conner was a two-year letterman for San Clemente Baseball. He was a left-handed pitcher and played first base for the Tritons. In the fall, Conner will follow in his brother’s footsteps and attend Saddleback College to play baseball, and eventually transfer to a four-year university to play baseball and study communications.
Message from Conner: It has been extremely upsetting to end our final year together like this. I am going to miss all of my teammates tremendously. I will never forget the last four years and the memories we made together. Love you boys.❤️⚾️

RILEY TATTON Riley was a catcher for SC Triton Baseball. In the fall, Riley will attend San Diego Christian College to study Forensic Psychology and Criminology. He will also play baseball for the Hawks.

KOLBY SCHIFFER Kolby was a left-handed pitcher for SC Triton Baseball. In the fall, Kolby will be attending Loyola Marymount University for baseball and to study business and law to pursue becoming a corporate attorney.

LOGAN SAMBRANO Logan played both second and third base for SC Triton Baseball. In the fall, Logan will be attending The University of Southern California (USC) to study Aerospace Engineering and will be looking to join the club baseball team.
Message from Logan: I would like to thank the San Clemente High School baseball program for providing the best four years of my life. I have developed so many friendships and made memories that will last a lifetime. I really cannot express how much of a role San Clemente baseball has played in my life. I was always supported every step of the way even with all of the academic endeavors I decided to take on (IB). I am so sad that my senior season had to end this way, but I would not replace a moment on the baseball field for the world.

GAVIN PETERSON Gavin was a right-handed pitcher for SC Triton Baseball. For the fall, Gavin has narrowed his decision down to either University of Washington or University of Utah where he will pursue a degree in business. Gavin plans to ski and study abroad while in college. His parents are proud of all Gavin’s academic achievements, and look forward to spending a lot of time in Seattle and/or Salt Lake City.

JJ PETERS JJ was an infielder for SC Triton Baseball. In the fall, JJ plans on attending University of California at Santa Barbara to study Economics and Accounting.

SPENCER NORMANDIN Spencer was a right-handed pitcher for San Clemente Triton Baseball. In the fall, Spencer will be attending Saddleback College through the Promise Program.
Message from Spencer: I never would've thought this season would have gone the way it has. Throughout all of high school, we have been looking forward to our senior year with a league championship and competing in CIF in the back of our minds. But I have nothing to complain about, I am truly blessed to have had the memories and friendships throughout these four years. No matter where we all end up the next couple of year - whether that be college or starting our lives - I know that we will all be brothers forever. I want to thank our school and baseball program for providing us with these memories that will last a lifetime!

MATT MASOTTO Matt was a two-year Varsity letterman, starting both seasons as the catcher for the Tritons. Matt has been accepted to multiple four-year universities and is still deciding where to attend.

JACK KEEFE Jack was an outfielder for the Triton team. His love for the game has been there since the age of four. Jack’s positive attitude and witty sense of humor has made him fun to be around on and off the field. The relationships he has created over these past four years will last a lifetime. Jack plans on studying business at the University of Utah in the fall. We are extremely proud of him!!

KELLEN HOLLIBAUGH Kellen was a three-year letterman for San Clemente High School Baseball. He played outfield during his tenure with the Tritons, mainly starting at center field. Kellen is planning on attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo studying business and economics.
From Kellen: I will never forget my senior season with all of my brothers. Even though it was cut short, it was the best group of friends I could ever ask for.
From Mom: I want to say how much I have loved watching you become the man you are today. I am so proud of you and support you always. Also, a thank you to all of your buddies for creating such lasting friendships that have and will continue to shape your life in so many ways. You are my hero too.
