Sometimes I like to go in blind to the gym and test my knowledge. Planning is key but making up a workout up on the spot sounds is dead fun sometimes!

Today I switched my conditioning to the beginning of the workout. suggested this a few posts back and I found it to be life changing. Today was pull focused metabolic stress with a touch of hypertrophy thrown in. Just my cup of tea

🍧 here’s a super delicious frozen Açai bowl you can make at home in 5 minutes
•
The Average açai bowl costs around $7 ($10 for a large) so save a few bucks and make it at home in your blender. Here’s the recipe
•
1️⃣ 1 pouch of organic UNSWEETENED (very important) açai purée from
2️⃣ Organic Mango chunks, also unsweetened, also from Trader Joes
3️⃣ Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
4️⃣ unflavoured Collagen peptides
5️⃣ A special appearance from my new favourite Coconut infused almond butter given to my by a very awesome friend. It’s from a farmers market in Carlsbad.

Blend it all together and top with your fave toppings! Mine had coconut shavings, pistachios, half of an and a big ol’ dollop of Almond butter 🤤

🐑 this was hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever cooked for myself and
•
This was Grass Fed lamb steak that I bough from and it set me back only $12 bucks for just over a pound of meat!
•
It fed us both for dinner and myself for lunch the next day too!
•
The recipe is as follows:
☝️ melt some Grass Fed butter in a pan with about 2-3 cloves of Garlic (chopped or minced)
✌️ Throw in a stem of Rosemary
🤟 Rub your meat with a blend of Brain Octane/XCT oil and Oregano
•
Chuck all that in the pan and cook your meat to your desired rarity (I strongly recommend medium rare for this recipe)
If I’m feeling extra saucy, I’ll dip it in some honey mustard or buffalo sauce 🤤

🍪 GUILT FREE COLLAGEN COOKIES!
•
This is a super easy muscle building, fat busting, craving smasher found on the website!!
•
Here’s my take on it...
—> 2 cups Almond Meal
—> 3 tbsp Grass-fed butter/ghee
—> 1 tsp Paleo baking powder
—> 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar
—> Monk fruit sweetener (to taste)
—> 1 big scoop of your fave Collagen - mines Coconut Vanilla 🤤
—> 1 pasture raised egg
—> a pinch of salt
•
Combine all dry ingredients. Leave baking powder & apple cider vinegar until last. Pour vinegar on top of powder so it reacts.
•
Combine all dry and wet ingredients, mix and create whatever inventive shapes you wish at your desired thickness :)
•
Spread on a pan and stick in the oven at 350 for 15 mins.

Picture this...you’ve just gotten home after a long work day...it’s late and the last thing you want to do is spend an hour in the gym fighting for machines

Go grab a Dumbbell of your choice and try this on for size
•
R/L arm - switch between rounds...
1️⃣ 12 DB hanging snatches
2️⃣ 12 Push press
3️⃣ 12 OH walking lunges
Repeat until timer is up & both arms have received equal rounds, e.g 2 rounds left arm hang snatch/2 rounds right arm.
•
It’s not elegant, it’s not pretty, and it’s not complicated....but it is simple, effective and efficient

Kettlebells are such an awesome tool! The weight is distributed unevenly, meaning that it forces the individual to stabilise, using various muscles you wouldn’t usually attribute to the movement in question

I wrote this workout when I was feeling particularly frustrated as I was feeling uninspired in the gym. I just couldn’t decide what to train and how to train it...so I just did this...
•
1️⃣ Elevated heel close stance Goblet Squat
2️⃣ Over Head Walking Lunge
3️⃣ Single arm Kettlebell swings, American Style.
•
I stuck to one side and did 6 rounds, alternating R/L every round....I was wrecked.
