BAND ON THE SAND – THIS SATURDAY, AUGUST 8 (NEW DATE!)

Due to a scheduling conflict, our August Band on the Sand has been moved to this Saturday, August 8, from 5:00–8:00 PM.

Join us for an evening with Gronsky & Meyler, talented local musicians whose soulful sound blends rock, jazz, country, reggae, and R&B. Their heartfelt performances feature both original songs and fresh takes on classic favorites. With Gronsky’s rich, powerful vocals and Meyler’s dynamic percussion, they create an unforgettable musical experience that connects with audiences of all ages.

They will be performing on the patio, so grab your beach chair, relax, and enjoy a beautiful summer evening by the ocean.

Don’t forget to show your appreciation by tipping the band!

HATS OFF TO DINAHCAT DESIGNS!

A huge shout-out to Shorecliffs resident Melissa Kenyon for connecting us with her incredibly talented friend, Adrienne of Dinahcat Designs, who created a plethora of killer custom trucker hats just for Shorecliffs!

We’ll have our trial run of color combinations available in both Yupoong Canvas Snapback Truckers and Otto Foam Front Truckers during tomorrow’s Band on the Sand featuring Skinny Ties, from 5:00–8:00 PM.

These hats are sure to go fast, so grab your favorite! If your must-have color combo sells out, no worries—we’ll be taking pre-orders for the following weekend’s festivities.

Vivian Walsh Named June 2026 Employee of the Month

In just one short year, Vivian has grown into a confident, dependable, and incredibly hardworking young professional. Her tremendous growth, dedication, and initiative have certainly not gone unnoticed.

You’ll often see Vivian cleaning, restocking supplies, wiping down tables, and assisting residents—but what you may not see is just how often she steps up behind the scenes. Vivian is always willing to pick up extra shifts and help her coworkers whenever needed.

Most recently, Vivian volunteered to work a double shift to help a coworker—the day after working our incredibly busy Fourth of July event. Now that’s dedication!

We are so proud to have Vivian on our Beach Club team and thrilled to recognize her outstanding contributions with this well-deserved award.


Oh My Gosh, It’s Vivian Walsh!

What school do you attend, and what grade are you in?
I will be a senior this year at San Juan Hills High School.

What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject is my after-school veterinary technician class.

Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?
I am involved in multiple clubs at school, do a lot of volunteer work, and play soccer.

What are your favorite hobbies or things to do in your free time?
I love reading, sewing, climbing, and thrifting. I also love spending time with my friends and going to the beach.

What do you like best about working at the Beach Club?
I really like all of my coworkers. I’ve been going to the Beach Club since I was a little kid, so I love being part of the team that makes it a special place for others.

Do you have a favorite shift, event, or Beach Club memory?
The Fourth of July this year! I loved helping with the event because attending it has been one of my family’s annual traditions for as long as we’ve lived here.

What are your future plans or career goals?
I plan to attend college and study veterinary science or zoology.

Is there anything you would like to say to the Shorecliffs community?
This community has always been so welcoming throughout all the years I’ve lived here. I wouldn’t have wanted to grow up anywhere else.

SBC Staff Honors Cale Foreman with Distinguished Board Director Award

As part of our ongoing effort to introduce fresh ideas, new events, and meaningful recognitions, your SBC staff is proud to present Cale Foreman with the first-ever Distinguished Board Director Award in recognition of his exceptional dedication and service to the Shorecliffs Beach Club community.

1. How long have you lived in Shorecliffs?
I have lived here my entire life and am extremely proud to be a fourth-generation Shorecliffs resident. The Beach Club is, without a doubt, my favorite place on Earth. Over the past 29 years, I’ve built countless friendships here. It has been an incredibly special place for the Foreman family dating all the way back to the 1960s.

2. What is your profession?
Medical Device Sales Representative.

3. Why did you become a board director?
First and foremost, it was the years of volunteering that both of my parents devoted to the Beach Club. My mom served on the board for ten years, and my dad worked here as a kid and continued to pour his time and energy into maintaining the club so that I, and someday his future grandchildren, could experience how special this place is. I ran for the board to give back!

4. What has been your biggest contribution?
While I wish I could be more involved at times, my work schedule doesn’t always allow it. However, I am always available to listen to concerns from members and present them at board meetings. Recently, the new tile-painting project that I spearheaded was a huge success, and I look forward to getting the tiles installed for everyone to enjoy.

5.) Is there anything you’d like to say to the Shorecliffs community reading this honor?
Receiving this award is incredibly humbling. There are many other board members who deserve this recognition just as much as, if not more than, I do. Matt Rose and Hal Kolp both worked nonstop during the high tides and large swells to help fortify our property, and I would like to thank and recognize them for their hard work and dedication.

Thank you, Cale, and thank you to the 40+ volunteers who helped us build our temporary barriers — it truly takes a village.

Join us for an afternoon of killer music with local favorite Jack Wygal, performing from 3:00–6:00 PM. Jack’s soulful vocals, acoustic guitar, and ukulele performances, paired with his entertaining stories behind the songs, create the perfect soundtrack for a relaxing and memorable Father’s Day.

TILES & SMILES – THIS SUNDAY, JUNE 7!

Shorecliffs Beach Club Members:

Join us this Sunday, June 7, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM and create a one-of-a-kind tile for our new community beach club tile wall. This is your chance to become a permanent part of Shorecliffs history!

We’ll provide everything you need:

• 6” x 6” ceramic tiles
• Paints and brushes
• Stencils and decorations

After the event, all tiles will be professionally glazed and installed at the club for everyone to enjoy for years to come.
