TRY THIS AT HOME : ββββββββ

1οΈβ£ Stand against the wall, walk you feet until your whole back is against the wall. ββββββββ
ββββββββ
2οΈβ£ Balance your weight on the balls of you feet & your heels. Push the floor away. ββββββββ
ββββββββ
3οΈβ£ Anchor the back of the hips (NOT your low back) into the wall. Pull your belly button in & up. ββββββββ
ββββββββ
4οΈβ£ Try to push the top of your head up to the ceiling without letting your chin go forward. ββββββββ
ββββββββ
5οΈβ£ Anchor your shoulder blades into the wall while still pulling your middle back into the wall. ββββββββ

In Pilates, we emphasize breathing for multiple reasons. One of them being that when you take a deep breath into your ribs, it actually decompresses your spine since our ribs are attached to our spine!
