Mr. Pilates himself demonstrating for us poor & proper posture 🫣 ​​​​​​​​
TRY THIS AT HOME : ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
1️⃣ Stand against the wall, walk you feet until your whole back is against the wall. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
2️⃣ Balance your weight on the balls of you feet & your heels. Push the floor away. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
3️⃣ Anchor the back of the hips (NOT your low back) into the wall. Pull your belly button in & up. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
4️⃣ Try to push the top of your head up to the ceiling without letting your chin go forward. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
5️⃣ Anchor your shoulder blades into the wall while still pulling your middle back into the wall. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
And vvvuuuala!!! There you have your ideal posture πŸ˜ƒ

Pilates props can not only make the exercise more challenging, they also can help you connect deeper to your powerhouse. ​​​​​​​​

One of my personal favorites is using the magic circle for my inner thigh connection in rolling like a ball. It helps me to articulate my spine & roll smoother! Do you have a fav?​​​​​​​​
