The news from yesterday is hitting me so hard. So many feelings today.

Many of you may not know, but I was formerly a hospital chaplain. My work was with families who were grieving.

Here’s a reminder to take a break today. Give yourself a break from the news. Attend to your needs:
✨ rest
✨ nourishing comfort food
✨ spending time with loved ones
✨ letting someone you trust know how you are feeling
✨make time for any coping practices (walking, journaling) or spiritual practices (prayers, vigils) that support you

The five stages of grief can appear in any order: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance

Welcome your feelings as a guest, but know that guests come and go.

There are many advocacy groups around this issue, and you are always welcome to join. ❤️

The past two and a half years have been full of hurdles, lifestyle changes, isolation, anxiety, balancing work, limited supply of affordable childcare, physical and mental health… and now as our littles are able to explore the world and learning what it means to have friends, you are their rock and safe place. If no one has told you recently, you’re doing a great job! So kick your feet up today, really soak in how amazing your littles are. 😍

I’m so thankful for my two littles who made me a mom & our community of family and friends who celebrate and love my kids. It means the world. And thanks to my partner for supporting me in parenthood and in launching Studio Bebé 💗

Hi OG fb friends 🤗 it’s me, Becca, mom of two toddlers & founder of Studio Bebé. Pre-pandemic, I took my daughter to so many fun parent + me classes… it helped us find friends along the journey and a routine we really looked forward to. Once my son who was born in 2020, finding those classes was very difficult… but now with so many families looking for connection and community after such a strange couple of years, I am so excited to build it from the ground up with YOU! 🤘👩‍🎤
