Sana Arun, student of Naad Studios, was fortunate to be part of Enchantment—a beautifully crafted bioplay presented by the Indian Fine Arts Academy of San Diego.
Enchantment is a unique production that blends drama, music, and dance to trace the extraordinary journey of sitar maestro and Bharat Ratna awardee Pandit Ravi Shankar through four defining stages of his life. This immersive storytelling experience brings together multiple art forms to celebrate his legacy in a deeply evocative way.
The production was helmed by renowned artist Gowri Ramnarayan, who led the play’s direction, design, and overall vision under a JustUs Repertory production. The musical composition featured the works of Pandit Ravi Shankar himself, with powerful vocal contributions from Bombay Jayashri, Aditya Prakash, Vignesh Ishwar, and Chaitra Sairam, along with technical support by Sneha Sheejith.
The cast featured talented performers including Yohan Chacko, Aarabhi Veeraraghavan, and dancer Bhavya Kumaran, making it a rich collaborative effort across disciplines.
Presented on March 26 (Thursday), from 8:30–10:00 PM, the production was supported by organizations such as Creative West, reflecting its artistic significance and community impact.
For Sana Arun, being part of such a prestigious and meaningful production was truly a special milestone—an opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to a performance that celebrates one of India’s greatest musical legends. Naad Studios celebrates her achievement and the enriching experience of being part of such an inspiring artistic journey.

A Moment of Honor & Devotion Through Art !
On Thursday, 29th January 2026, Naad was deeply honored to be part of the photographic exhibition by the phenomenal dance photographer Doug McMinimy at the Museum Suite of the Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego.
It was a true privilege to collaborate with Mr. McMinimy and bring Raas Leela to life through the stillness and power of photography.
If you’re in the San Diego area—or visiting between now and July 12—we warmly invite you to experience this beautiful exhibit.
Raas, also known as Raas Leela, traces its sacred origins to the era of Lord Krishna in Vrindavan. More than a dance, it is a divine expression of bhakti (devotion), prem (pure love), and cosmic harmony. As described in the Bhagavata Purana, Krishna danced with the Gopis beneath moonlit skies, where time itself dissolved into devotion.
In Raas, Krishna multiplies himself so each Gopi feels an intimate, personal connection—symbolizing the soul’s relationship with the Divine. The circular formation reflects the eternal cycle of life, with Krishna at the center as supreme consciousness. Musically rich and rhythmically vibrant, Raas weaves movement, clapping, footwork, and spiritual storytelling—evolving over centuries, yet always rooted in Krishna’s playful grace and divine love.
This presentation is choreographed by the Artistic Director of Naad Studios, Neha Patel, and performed with grace and devotion by her students:
Bhavithya Kaliraj
Rhea Sanvi Kothapally
Medha Lakshmi Aravind
Kavya Thenappan
Sana Arun

As the calendar turns and a new rhythm begins,
Naad Studios offers a prayer to the world — may every step find balance, every heartbeat find harmony, and every soul find its own sacred rhythm.
May the coming year unfold like a timeless composition — where tradition breathes through innovation, where discipline blossoms into joy, and where art continues to unite hearts beyond boundaries.
With gratitude for the journeys shared and hope for the stories yet to be danced, sung, and lived,
we welcome the New Year with faith, grace, and devotion to the arts.
Wishing the world a harmonious, inspired, and luminous New Year!
