Happy World Sea Lion Day!

I don't think I realized until I was looking at the 60th hat that I've been working at Sea World for 10 years. I remember how insanely excited I was going to my first employee orientation and getting my 50th anniversary hat. Then, checking out the precious moments figurine and realizing I've worked with all of those animals (plus a few extras😉) during my 10 years here. I've been so lucky to make and build relationships with so many animals and people. It's truly a blessing to work at a place with people who share the same passion and get to share that passion with others! As well as get to meet amazing people everyday like Hiko Maeda who made this precious moments sculpture!

Wow! What a blast from the past. So many core memories were made here for me 13 years ago. Can't believe this incredible program has been around for 50 years. So great to see all the alumni together knowing we all share a truly unique and special experience. I still remember one of the first days, "Hi, my name is Taryn and my dream is to work with Killer Whales." Dreams really can come true. ❤️🙂
