Happy Father's Day from Baja Desert Pits!
To all the fathers out there, especially those racing motorcycles, trucks, buggies, and UTVs, today we celebrate you.
But we also want to recognize the dads behind the scenes—the ones spending countless hours in the middle of the desert, loading trailers, fueling vehicles, turning wrenches, chasing pits, and doing whatever it takes to support their children and their dreams.
Your dedication, sacrifice, and commitment do not go unnoticed. Whether you're behind the wheel, on the bike, or standing in a remote pit waiting for your racer to come through, you are helping create memories and building the next generation of off-road racers.
From all of us at Baja Desert Pits, thank you for everything you do.
Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads in the off-road community. Racers are our family, and today we celebrate the fathers who make it all possible.

Yesterday a fellow racer left this world doing what he loved in one of the most magical places in the world. Racing Baja is one of the most exciting things you can do in the world and it’s because of the beauty and also danger at the same time. We are all aware of what can happen but we always like to think it won’t happen to us. The bike rider was not hit by any truck like some false and very wrong rumors have suggested. He was down and in bad shape when the first truck came upon him. All of the truck and buggy racers that came upon the downed rider stopped their race, they got out of their cars and tried to help. They did not continue their race until they worked together to try and get the rider to medical help. The medical helicopter was not able to land right at the rider and everyone came together to load him on a backboard and walked him down the hill together. They did not leave a fellow racer behind and this picture right here is something I’ve never seen before and hopefully we never will again but it’s a reminder that we are all humans and life is special. Respect doesn’t cost you anything. RIP fellow racer.
