I felt compelled to record a part of one of my last training-runs before the 100-Miles for Breast Cancer. I often get asked what running 'insane distances' truly feels like; mentally, physically, spiritually, etc. It's a question that's very hard to answer due to the fact that no run is exactly the same as another. I've had 40-Mile runs that kicked my ass worse than an actual 100-Miler.
However, from the standpoint of what I feel to be is what most people's curiosity is interested in most; what goes on in the mind, what do you physically feel, how do you deal with the pain, etc. - I think this short video will give you a small glimpse.
I'll do my best to share more of these raw, uncut, full-transparency, and vulnerable experiences -- as my intention is to help you see that I'm no one special, I have no special talent, or natural gifts. I hope to inspire YOU to go deeper, go further, and go ULTRA in all areas of your life; in business, work, relationships, family, and contribution.
I truly believe that if you genuinely want to play at the highest-level in any area of life - you MUST be willing to detach from the thoughts, words, and actions that are self-serving. You must give yourself the permission to become broken, to become vulnerable, to show-up in humility, and ultimately surrender to the process it takes for you to realize that next version of yourself...

Thank you to EVERYONE who's generously donated to Norah's GoFundMe Campaign. Norah LOVES each and every one of you to the Moon and back!
We want to make sure you're in the loop of the big milestones we've achieved as well as any noteworthy updates.
12/17 - Dr.Wallace and her amazing team at UCSD Medical Hospital completed Norah's SUCCESSFUL mastectomy surgery around 8:00pm. Dr.Wallace said the surgery went very well and Norah was a Champ the entire time.
By 9:30pm, Norah was already eating ice cream w/ her favorite; a potato, egg & cheese burrito! Surprisingly enough, Norah said the pain was a 3 out of 10 post-surgery. Myself as well as her nurses were shocked - she's a savage.
12/19 - Norah was discharged from UCSD Medical Hospital around 12:30pm where she was greeted by friends w/ chocolate and balloons outside the building. She was so happy. Norah spent the rest of the day resting and getting situated at home.
12/20 - 8:00pm, as I write this update, I'm happy to share that Norah is doing well. No change in diet or unexpected complications. Her body feels fatigued and very tired, therefore, she's been spending most of the day in bed resting.
--- Unfortunately, Dr.Wallace did mention that they found cancer cells in her lymph nodes, which still exist in her body post-surgery. This was news we were hoping 'not' to hear, however, we prepared for it. Chemotherapy and radiation will be in her ongoing treatments for months to come.
We'll send additional updates as they become available...
Please continue to send Norah and her support-system your thoughts, prayers, and good vibes. It's sincerely what has and continues to keep Norah in high spirits and optimistic throughout each step of her journey!
If you feel compelled to donate to her GoFundMe, we kindly invite you to at

Thank you for answering our personal prayers and being an extension of love!
Best,

July of this year, a dear friend of mine, Norah, at 28yrs of age discovered that she’d been diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. I’d never truly understood what it felt like to experience any form of cancer, but after having spent the last 5 months ‘showing up’, along with a handful of supportive friends by her side - I can now say that I have a glimpse. That glimpse alone was enough for me to set aside most of my personal-affairs and surrender to the call for help.
From witnessing a dozen doctor visits, handful of painful biopsies, MRIs, mammograms, needle injections - as well as countless hours of research and conversations around 'the best ways to beat cancer’ from Western Doctors, Integrative & Holistic Doctors, Cancer Survivors, etc. (many of which have opposing viewpoints) - and lastly, the mental, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual depletion that has come as a result of the past 5 months (the beginning stages of the journey). This was my ‘glimpse’.
As of today, Norah has accepted to undergo a mastectomy (removal of the breast) on December 17, 2020 in order to minimize the spread of rapidly growing cancer cells. The months following her surgery will include ongoing chemotherapy, radiation, and progressive treatments. All of which will require an abundance of support from others.
Which leads me to the reason of my post;
I will be running 100-miles on December 24th to December 25th in San Diego, CA to help bring awareness and raise donations for Norah’s GoFundMe Campaign.
The GoFundMe is currently active. I along with a handful of others, humbly invite you to spend a few minutes to learn more about Norah, her 'Road to Recovery', and the opportunity to support her journey (in any way you can - please share).
A BIG Thank You to friends and family who've already donated and shared the campaign with others.

I've personally lost a few Loved Ones this year. From natural-cause, from COVID-19, and just A WEEK ago -- a childhood friend due to CANCER, of all things... My deepest condolences to their families as well as my own.
More to share in the days to come,
Love & Light,
