Founder Sean Tuohey meets Jamal Murray and talks about Meditation šŸ’¬

ā€œJamal Murray credits his success to his meditation practice. When I asked him about negative self-talk and how he handles three straight missed shots in a game, he reflected back to his meditation practice and how he visualizes missing shots. He focuses on having a positive reaction to a negative experience. He said, "If you look at the games where I shot the worst in the recent NBA finals, I actually played my best games."

• New York State Comptroller DiNapoli’s audits found that Department of Ed (DOE) does not take any action to ensure that schools have included a mental health component in their curriculum and are providing mental health instruction to the students, nor does it monitor whether schools’ programs meet the minimum requirements or assess their effectiveness.

•With the right person making the call, CHANGE IS POSSIBLE.
• Our fight is not over until every child possesses access to the tools needed to successfully manage stress and anxiety.
• At IA we cater to the transition of increasing mental health culture at any given school. Our programs are NOT contracts, but a partnership with schools to expand on their formal learning curriculum..
• Programs around the world label themselves ā€œmental health resourcesā€ but do not ensure the efficacy of implementations.

•Without a mind that Is calm learning life skills like communication, making interpersonal relationships, leadership, motivation, and etc are MORE DIFFICULT to obtain and maintain for a child.
