For the pregnant women who have a plan but wanna know the if/then/what if scenarios 📝
I’ve done a lot to stay informed, grounded, & know exactly what I’d want if things don’t go to “my birth plan”
I am very well aware too that this cannot be about “control” [cause nature and our body doesn’t work that way lol]
For me, it’s just being educated, having boundaries, & staying calm if the unexpected happens
[ps - panic + adrenaline are the kryptonite to labor, it stalls it and quite literally can close your cervix !!!]
Big shoutout to my doulas for having the real, honest convos with me🤝
-if/then scenarios with birth
-natural augmentation alternatives to try if approaching past due date
-breech baby plans
-medical induction
-baby preferences when born
-at what point would I utilize Pitocin in labor
-C-section plans/when would I opt for this
-etc etc�
Every woman deserves to know these things before the big day, or as I am referring to it “game day” 😎

Very different from a year ago’s “optimization pre-pregnancy” training schedule 🤪
Most of us by now know that staying active and strength training, with appropriate balance, are proven to be helpful for pregnancy and recovery
I could deff be “doing more” but I’m not too worried all things considered thus far…
There are some really awesome IG accounts of women who are truly inspiring & knowledgeable on prenatal movement and those are even helpful for ME 😊
But transparently I’m not one of those gals who has “stayed consistent” with strength training these past several months!
Instead I might settle for a walk in the neighborhood or my hip/back/core PT stretches + exercises in the sun ☀️
So just a reminder that prioritizing your health is of the utmost importance leading up to, during & after pregnancy and finding the right groove & balance is key too 🫶🩷
