To deliver meaningful performance improvement to athletes of all ages. Our first iteration of this technology is called The GRID, initially designed for baseball, softball and cricket. The GRID uses optical lasers to track the precise speed, trajectory and location of sports objects. Coupled with high-definition video capture of each “event”, the system is able to illustrate how changes in mechanics can improve a player’s performance.

Athelytix is designing their core software to have an open architecture that will allow for 3rd party API's to augment the laser data and provide much more comprehensive and curated analytics reports. By example, with the HD video that is gathered during the use of The GRID provides the perfect platform to incorporate markerless software to analyze pitching, hitting and catching then included (curated) in each event report (an event being pitch, hit or catch/throw).

Athelytix has developed a unique business model that generates revenue through revenue share and NOT system sales. System sales limit revenue and cash flow and increases internal operational costs. Revenue share provides recurring revenue from the same client in perpetuity and Athelytix revenue increases as the installed base increases with new clients.
AND - Athelytix will provide systems at no cost to facilities eliminating the barrier to entry providing an increased opportunity to increase Athelytix market share.
