Beware of people that try to project their own limiting beliefs, pain, struggle and insecurities on to you; it’s not yours to take.

Read that again 👆🏼

Now more than ever, I’m protecting my mindset like it’s the only thing I’ve got.

If you’re not going to empower and encourage someone, at least don’t vomit up your pessimistic words and advice. Your reality is yours and yours alone. How “hard” things are is created by your own perception of the world. This is largely impacted by the people you surround yourself with.

It’s important to be teachable and to receive people’s feedback, but ONLY by those leading by example of what you’d like to create for yourself. Otherwise - smile, nod and be on your way ✌🏼unless you like sitting in your misery 🤦🏼‍♀️

You are the creator of your own experiences. Be the light in people’s lives ✨ mindset and beliefs are EVERYTHING!

An attitude of appreciation is the first step to manifesting what you want.

If you’re in a constant state of focusing on what you don’t want, that’s exactly what you’re going to continue attracting - more of what you don’t want and more things to be frustrated about.

Only talk about what you do want 💫 focus on your current blessings and take one inspired action at a time.

Be open to meeting new people and for new opportunities to present themselves and be open to change 🦋

Remember: one small change in one area of your life can have a large impact on another 💞

If you don’t have what you want, you could be in a season of PREPARATION 💫

Or you could be holding yourself back, but that’s a different post 😆

As I embark on this new journey of becoming a mother, I know these past 5 years of letting go, healing and becoming have prepared me for this moment to be the best mama I can be.

When you want something, no matter what it is, the best questions to ask are:

👉🏼 “Who do I need to become?”

👉🏼 “What habits and thought patterns do I need to change or let go of?”

👉🏼 “What do I need to learn?”

If you’re not willing to change, nothing in your life will. It’s not going to happen over night. There is no lose weight fast, get rich quick, become the best, magic pill.

It’s a process. And if you’re willing to do what’s necessary and be consistent, I promise you…the results are worth it 🤩🥳

Have you ever noticed how often you say “I’m sorry”?

…for things there’s no reason to be sorry for.

Ladies, stop apologizing 🤐

If you bump into someone, say “excuse me”.

If you’re running late, thank the other person for waiting for you.

If you said something that needs clarifying, say “let me expand on that”.

The only thing you need to be sorry for is if your hurt someone else, knowingly or unintentionally.

Other than that, what do you have to be sorry for?

Apologizing for everything comes from a place of people pleasing and insecurity.

Pay attention to how often you say “I’m sorry” and replace it with something else.

Take your power back ❤️

You’re not neglecting your family by showing up and taking care of yourself.

You’re just no longer neglecting yourself.

When you take time to nurture yourself, you show up as your best self.

And when you show up as your best self, everyone wins ❤️

You are a product of who you surround yourself with.

There are a lot of “nice, well-intentioned” people in the world.

That doesn’t mean they should be in your life.

I wish I would have paid closer attention to this when I was younger ❤️

Have you done an audit of the people in your life lately?

Are they good for you and your future, or are they draining your energy and keeping you where you don’t want to be?

Whether you want to grow in you spiritual faith, become financially abundant, lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle, become the partner you’re looking for - it’s necessary for you to stop doing certain things and incorporate new habits, new people, and new environments that will help you get there ✨

20 weeks today and officially half way through my first pregnancy 😳😍

Loving and appreciating my body, strength and good health more than ever 💖 all the past years of discipline and consistency are definitely paying off in this moment 💪🏼

Optimal health doesn’t happen over night.

It’s your small, daily habits that add up to big change over time.

Most people want instant results and when they don’t get it they stop. So they stay stuck their whole lives.

There is no magic pill. Nothing extreme, just consistency.

Are you an all or nothing person? What’s your biggest challenge in staying consistent with ONE thing?

I used to struggle with this too. A change in environment and new groups of friends made a HUGE difference ❤️

My first actual breakdown and cry out to God was in March of 2016.

There’s a big difference between a “call out to God” and a “cry out to God”.

Pastor gives the analogy of when a child fake cries vs. a real cry. We know exactly how that sounds!

I had many “call outs” to God, but I still wanted to be in control.

Until that day in March, after my 31st birthday, I was in tears as my knees hit the floor, that day I truly felt for the first time what it was like to surrender.

Most of the time, we need to be “fed up” in order to make a change.

✨ We need to get sick or be overweight in order to change our eating and lifestyle habits

✨ We need to lose everything before we start our dream business

✨ We need to date all the wrong people before we meet the person that’s good for our soul

✨ We need to lose ourselves in order to find ourselves

I feel healthy and strong ❤️

I didn’t start really loving and appreciating my body until a few years ago.

I used to focus on cardio and didn’t like lifting weights because I wanted to be skinny.

I cut down on calories and weighed myself everyday, wanting the number on the scale to be as low as it could.

I complained about feeling “fat” and picked myself apart 😞

So many women exercise and go on diets because they DON’T like the way they look, I did too.

Then, I moved to Hawaii and began my healing journey. I started to heal and show up for my inner child who I had abandoned for so long.

What a blessing it is to be able to show my daughter through my example what it looks like to love, show up for, care and respect herself 💖

One of my favorite gratitude practices is saying, THANK YOU, with every step I take 💃

This is a practice out of the book, The Magic, by Rhonda Byrne.

Today, as much as you can remember to do it, say, THANK YOU, every time you take a step.

Take one step and in your mind say, THANK YOU, and then again say, THANK YOU, as your other foot touches the ground.

We are thinking thoughts all day long! And most people are thinking thoughts of worry, fear, frustration, negativity, etc.

This is a great practice to do to clear your mind, refocus your thoughts and connect with the Universe 💫
