Finished up this one for a good friend it's a guarded hidden tang version of the "imposter" w2 with hamon and a brass guard that was blued, paper micarta spacer with white g10 and blue dyed buckeye burl. Alot learned with this one considering it was my 2nd guarded knife I have done. Very happy with the feel in hand and overall finish

Made something for myself! Forgot to post it, but I finished this up a few weeks ago and been in my pocket since. Very lightweight and comfortable for my hands. Calling it the guarded hidden tang imposter.
Steel is w2 with hamon
Brass guard that I darkened with gun blu
spacer and plug are malachite
Wood is spalted American sycamore from board stiff
Originally planned for a thru tang but changed my mind and made a plug for the butt of the knife
Natural canvas micarta pin

Had family come stay with me for a few weeks to visit and my nephew wanted to make a knife, told him to find a template he liked online and found this, tweaked a few things and everything you see here he did on his own except buffing, sharpening and the sharpening choil. He is 16 and I think he now has a itch for it. Super stoked for him this is 100 times better than my first knife. Can't wait to see what Anthony Kristeena Reynoso comes up with for the sheath. Let me nephew know what you think I'll show him the comments

Finally made myself a knife, first go at w2 with hamon, I'll definitely be doing it again but know now where the clay leaves the line so I'll have fun with it, made this knife specifically after getting this piece of ambrosia maple from Clint Craig at boardstiff (I'll tag him in the comments) every piece of material I have got from him has polished up like glass I love it. No name for this one yet but it is designed after the Carter cutlery neck knife and bark river adventurer. Only seen pictures of both so just kinda guessed on size and stuff, happy with the outcome. Can't wait till I get a leather pocket sheath for this one from Anthony Kristeena Reynoso so I can carry it and get some use.
