Oh the colors of nudibranchs! While diving at La Jolla Shores Canyon, keep a sharp eye for these little colorful nudibranchs. They are more camouflaged than you think.

With a cold 52 degrees at the canyon wall the thermocline at the end of the dive felt like a warm bath. During the day you may see the larger octopus out of their dens.

When you think it is random piece of underwater vegetation, but instead it is a branch nudibranch. It is nearly impossible to see what they really look like. Using super macro you can start to see through its disguise.
