Slow stretch of fishing across the fleet right now. Today we saw a little light at the end of the tunnel with a respectable catch of very nice yellowtail. One thing is for sure, we will always try our very hardest to get you on the fish.

BANG! Got on the big ones last night and boy were they hungry. 86 bluefin so far. 40 @100-160 # and the rest are 30-80 #. What a night!

No this is not AI. 48.5 pounds of California Yellowtail caught today while in search mode after a good night of bluefin fishing. 25 # line and a flyline sardine.

3 day limits of bluefin tuna (all daytime fish) 4 mahi and we’re up to 80+ on the yellowtail today. This is fishing we dream of in the fall nevermind April. Better hang on tight 2026 is gonna be a BANGER! We have open spots throughout mid May. The time is now!

Boat maintenance is coming along smoothly and we will be fishing before you know it. Along with open party trips in April and May we have opened a few open party trips in the prime months of August and September.

We are back in the water after a flawless bottom side Coast Guard inspection. Lots of cosmetic work being done this maintenance cycle including a full remodel to the galley. We are already getting excellent reports of bluefin up and down the coast, we’ll be fishing before you know it!
That’s a wrap! The 2025 season was one for the books for us on the Pacific Queen. Thank you to all our charter masters and passengers that make this possible year after year. Thank you to the crew that work tirelessly trip after trip. Now we start our annual maintenance which will include remodeling the galley, hauling out, a lot of painting, and all the small things that keep the boat safe and reliable.
