Good grade, hot weather, and heavy line. We had some good fishing yesterday on 40-70 pound yellowfin and today the 20-40 pounders are eating everything that touches the water. We are currently tucking tail to place it safe for Sundays weather.

The next chance to get on the Pacific Queen is a 3 day departing 10/25/26. We also have available spots all through November.

Good grade yellowfin during the day and some shots at jumbo bluefin at night. What can beat that?!?

Fall has been the best time of the year for us for good grade yellowfin the last couple years and it’s looking like this fall will be no different.

Some really special stuff going on right now. 20 wahoo for our last trip. David Togashi and the boys flat out just don’t miss! This is one of those trips we will talk about for the rest of our lives. Trolling, bombs, yo-yo jigs, and bait all caught wahoo. Firsts for many but truly special to see this with in 150 miles from home.

The grade of fish just keeps getting better and better. Limits of Bluefin tuna, 20 over 100 # and the bulk of the catch being 50-90 pounds. Daytime flyline and kite fishing backed up by some good stops at night. And you never know, there’s 500 pounders swimming around out there right now!

Steady picking at bluefin in the 20-80 pound range for Roelofs Humboldt Fisheries Fund with some jumbo dorado to go with it. The weather has been up lately but we’ve been fortunate to be able to stay on the anchor to keep things civil.

The next opportunity to jump on the Queen is late October. We have 2-3 day trips with open spots starting late October into November. One thing we know about the El Niño cycle is that fall fishing is always the highlight of the year.

West_Coast_Jiggerz sure had good timing this go around. There’s no doubt the WCJ HD 350gram is the go to when it comes to night time bluefin fishing. Super fun night watching the leaders in the west coast jigging world do what they do best.
