RUNNING HYROX β STATION 4: BURPEE BROAD JUMP π€Έ
This station destroys athletes who chase distance instead of rhythm.
Hereβs how we coach it, aligned with current HYROX standards:

Big jumps early = redline later.
β Hands stay close
Long sprawled burpees waste energy and slow transitions.
β Chest actually touches the floor
No half reps. No hovering.
β Jump through the hips
Good extension = more distance with less effort.
β Land balanced and move immediately
The best athletes never fully stop moving.
β Breathe every rep
Panic breathing turns this station into survival mode.
β Think βcruise pace,β not sprint pace
The goal is staying efficient all 80m.

Most athletes waste energy fighting the rope instead of using positioning and rhythm.
A few simple rules:

Stay planted and stable

Hand-over-hand rhythm > panic pulls

Walk hands, then feet

Relax the grip when possible
Smooth athletes move the sled faster than aggressive athletes.
