We can’t believe we’re saying this already… didn’t the season just start!? Save the date for Closing Day Ceremonies on May 21st at 12:00pm. There will be fun activities for all the players and their families.
In the Mustang Division, star slugging catcher David Beck blasts his second round-tripper of the season. Beck’s tape measure smash to dead center was a 3 run shot that launched out of the stadium like a bullet train going full throttle. The tale of the tape showed the dinger to be at 255ft but some say it would have easily launched out of Petco Park. Congratulations David, way to go big guy, you have a beautiful swing that blasts the big fly!!!
In the Bronco Division, slugging Shortstop Keith Clark takes over the league lead with his 4th Round-Tripper on the season. Clark’s bomb was a solo shot Oppo-Taco that blasted off like a rocket ship going Mach 3. Congratulations Keith, you’re on a tear, keep blasting those dingers everywhere!
In the Bronco Division, star shortstop Joey Rocha hammers a 250ft bullet to left center to help seal the victory for the Ray’s in Tuesday night’s action at Tec. Joey’s blast brought the fans to their feet as the tape measure shot rocketed over the wall like a lightening bolt across the sky. Congratulations Joey, your future is bright, especially when you’re blasting big flies way out of sight!
In the Bronco Division, league leading home-run hitters Wyatt Lo and Keith Clark faced off in an epic battle that brought the crowds and did not disappoint, as both players went upper tank in the contest.
Wyatt’s 2 run blast to left was his third on the season and was a towering drive into the Rose Canyon that triggered a slight quake from the roar of the fans.
Keith Clark’s Big Fly was a 3 run Jack to right center that blasted off like a sonic boom around the park. Clark’s blast was also his 3rd on the season leaving the pair tied for the league lead. Congratulations Wyatt and Keith, I heard SDGE was looking for a power surge in the area and found both of you hitting bombs at Tec. 💥
In the Shetland Division, slugging 1st baseman, Zayn Zaghlul, smashes the divisions first homerun of the season. His 3-run dinger launched out of the shetland field as a laser beam no doubter that people are calling the “Shot heard ‘Round Tecolote”. Congratulations Zayn and welcome to Tec. With a swing like that, there’s going to be no stopping you. 👏🏻
Makeup Pictures will be on Saturday April 23rd from 9:30-10:00am 📸
In the Bronco Division, Twins star Shortstop Keith Clark blasts a 2-run opposite field Tater that busted the seams off the ball, Roy Hobbs style. The moon shot was Clark’s second of the season and helped his team go on to route the Angels in Monday nights battle at Bronco. Congratulations Keith, word has it that your exit velo was a 93.6….someone please call the Padres front office, we’ve got a player they need to meet.
In Thursday night’s action at Bronco, power hitting catcher Lawrence Duffin shocks them all with his blast into the Rose Canyon for his first big fly on the season. Duffin’s no-doubter was a laser shot to left that would have made even Tatis Jr. proud. Congratulations Lawrence! Here’s to many more!
In the pinto division, star slugger 3B Lincoln Duffin launches his 3rd dinger of the year. This tape measure blast to left hit a 1.5 on the Richter scale and caused shockwaves throughout Tec as Lincoln’s bomb puts him in the lead for most dingers on the season. Way to go Lincoln! Keep crushing! 👊🏼
In the Mustang Division, power hitting shortstop David Beck blasted a towering opposite field homer for The Mustang division’s 1st Big Fly of the year. The tape measure shot rallied the Cubs to victory in a thriller at Tec vs. the Orioles. Congratulations David and here’s to many more! 🙌🏼

Congratulations to the 9U Red on bringing home Tecolote’s 17th All Star banner and winning the 2023 International Pony Mustang World Series! They saw teams as far away as Japan and Sinaloa, Mexico.

The 9U coaching staff was run by Manager Scott Housman, Assistant Coach Nate White, and business manager Sean Maher whose all inclusive mentality brought the team’s chemistry to new levels and the never quit attitude proved it’s worth with 2 late come-from-behind victories in their last two games of the World Series. First against a tough Rodeo in the semis. Then in the finals, a rematch of the zone championship game against Simi Valley.

Every teammate contributed to this winning season. Spectators commented on the big bats, lockdown defense and deep bullpen being shown by this team.

Congratulations to the 9U Mustangs for their hard work, dedication and team effort on this long run to become the undefeated, perfect season (30–0) International Pony Mustang 9U World Series Champs!

Catch Tecolote 9u Red tonight at 5pm!

The Pony International Mustang 9U World Series is open to the public this weekend, and we hope that you will join us out at Keating Park!!

However, if you cannot make it to the fields, or if you are not local, you can live stream the games through B&N Productions. Just scan the QR code to get started!

Congratulations to the Tecolote 8u Red for taking home Tecolote’s 16th banner, as well as Tecolote’s 3rd World Series Title of the 2023 All-Star season! The team successfully defended their title to take home the hardware against a very competitive Carlsbad Black Team.
Our 8u Red was lead by power hitting sluggers, Lincoln Duffin, Hudson Mauger, Granite Turowski, Austin Jahn, Gage Broughton, and Mackenzie Davis who’s bats hammered home 39 home-runs during the all-star season.
As equally impressive was our defense lead by Mateo Ruiz, Jayce De Vera, Fletcher Danson, Eli Amiram, Wyatt Torcolini, and Noah Kabban as they held opponents to 46 total runs with 14 shutouts over 28 games.
This team also had 5 players - (Hudson Mauger, Lincoln Duffin, Fletcher Danson, Eli Amiram, and Granite Turowski) successfully 3-peat as pinto division World Series champs as they won in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
The 8u Red coaching Staff was lead by Manager Josh Danson, Fabian Ruiz, Mike Mauger, Jaret Jahn, and Lannon Turowski, who helped guide the team to a 27-1 record.
Congratulations Tec Red 8u, you had a terrific season sweeping all tournaments you were in and we couldn’t be more proud of you.

Congratulation to Tecolote’s 6U Red on bringing home the banner for the Shetland West Zone World Series! They entered the World Series tournament with a record of 21 wins and 0 loses. In the next 6 games they went undefeated, including walk-off wins against Irvine (6-5), Hart Red (12-11) and a 4-run comeback walk-off win in the championship game against defending World Series champion Camarillo (14-13).

At the completion of bringing the first Shetland World Series banner to Tecolote, they finished with a record of 27 wins and 0 loses. Every player on the roster 1-12 contributed throughout each tournament. Whether it was outfielders catching fly balls, infielders playing lock-down defense or the entirety of their roster coming up with clutch hits. This all-star run could not have happened without the total team mentality that embodied our 6U team.

In a surprise appearance yesterday at Tecolote, our very own 8U Blue All-Stars received a special visit from MLB All-Star game bound, left fielder, 🤩
The Padres, fresh off a sweep of the Angels, had the day off and we were lucky enough Soto took time out of his day to visit Tec and say hello.
His appearance made the day for so many ball players, as the kids flocked from all the surrounding practices to catch a glimpse of one of their hero’s hanging out at their home field.
It was a magical moment that the kids will never forget and we can’t thank Juan Soto enough for being such a great role model to the kids and the community.
