COVID UPDATE
Hello Krav Maga Academy San Diego Members!
Just wanted to give everyone a brief reminder about how classes are currently being run and update everyone on what’s to come in the next couple months. Our priority is to keep everyone safe and healthy while still being able to get some quality training in.
So here’s what’s new and what you need to know:
We still have a temporary stop on boxing and jiu jitsu classes until students are allowed to make contact with one another. We don’t know whether or not that will be in June/July but we forecast that maybe by the summer once everyone has had ample opportunity to get vaccinated, and things are more comfortable, that we will make these classes available again. Until then, we are still socially distanced, still wearing masks, but able to work with pads/focus mitts, bags, etc. and get as much as we can out of our training in the meantime.
You also have the option to continue to participate in the Krav 1 classes via zoom if you don’t feel comfortable participating in person yet, as they will be streamed live from the gym during their class times. If this is something you’re interested in, make sure you get in contact with us, and we will send you the link via email.
Schedule:
Monday:
Krav 2 - 5:30-6:30 PM
Krav 1 - 7-8 PM
Tuesday:
Kids Krav - 4:30-5:30 PM
Krav 1 - 6-7 PM
Wednesday:
Krav 2 - 5:30-6:30 PM
Krav 1 - 7-8 PM
Thursday:
Kids Krav - 4:30-5:30 PM
Krav 1 - 6-7 PM
Saturday:
Kids Krav - 9:30-10:30 AM
Krav 1 - 11-12 PM
Please sign up for the classes you are planning to attend in person in advance online, as we will have a max capacity for all classes. We don’t anticipate reaching that capacity, but we don’t want to turn anyone away at the door.
We look forward to seeing everyone! If you have any questions let us know, you can call or email us. All this information will also be sent out via email, so make sure to check your spam folders if you didn’t get it.

(and more news)
Hello Krav Maga Academy San Diego Members!
We’re happy to announce that we are going to be reopening as of November 2nd. While we are excited to be back, in light of everything that has been going on, we are making some accommodations to keep everyone as safe as possible.
We also wanted to thank everyone who has continued their support through these tough times. Because of your flexibility, we’ve been able to pivot to zoom to keep training, and we’ve been able to survive what is a really hard time for everyone. As a way to say thank you to everyone, once contact is allowed, KMASD is going to put on 2 free seminars for our student-base to show you how much we appreciate everyone sticking with us..
That being said, here’s a list of some of our accommodations for in-person training:
A new schedule, with breaks for cleaning in-between classes to ensure that the gym is as clean as possible and all surfaces are wiped down.
Capped class sizes that will require online sign ups so that we can ensure everyone has plenty of room to work safely within 6 feet of each other.
A new check in process with waivers that need to be signed daily, consenting that each individual entering the gym has not knowingly been exposed to COVID-19 as well as a forehead surface temperature check upon entering the gym.
Face coverings are required upon entering and when each individual is within 6 feet of one another.
Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the gym
Temporary closure of the showers and water fountain, but drinks will be available to purchase.
All employees are required to wear face masks at all times.
A temporary stop on boxing and jiu jitsu classes until students are allowed to make contact with one another.
