Producer Sportfishing

We had an excellent shot at some big grade yellowtail yesterday on a kelp. Over 20 hook ups for five fish. Make sure you have 40lb and tight drags this weekend! There are more kelps below loaded with fish. We will definitely be focusing on this zone for the next few trips. The weather looks absolutely gorgeous this weekend and we have plenty of availability! This past week has been pretty tough for the fleet due to bad weather and the Bluefin going MIA. Yesterday we did a lot of exploring in various areas of our beautiful Pacific, we saw a lot of Bonito but even they had lock jaw. We also looked at some decent kelps that also had a couple of nice schools of yellowtail that weren't quite ready to chew. We did see some very promising water, the warmest we have seen this year 69.5⁰ and very clean with a lot of life. We weren't able to really explore the zone due to the fact that it was later in the day. Hopefully this is a very good sign of things soon to come. We finished our day with 10 Bonito and 2 yellows for our great group of Passengers. We look forward to the weather calming and our next opportunity to get you out on tje water!
