We all know a clean drive-train lasts longer and runs smoother. There are lots of good lubricants out there although we prefer Dumonde Tech. Over application of even the premium stuff can lead to a mess. This is the lubing procedure Dumonde Tech suggests:

Clean and dry the chain before the first application.

Apply sparingly and wipe off excess lubricant with a clean cloth to the point where the chain’s outer surface appears dry.

Re-apply Dumonde Tech Original only when you begin to hear your chain; sound, not appearance or time.

With the ski season nearly upon us Mammoth Mountain has already opened and has reported significant snow fall after a recent storm dumped 6 ft of fresh pow at the summit. Our local mountains Big Bear and Snow Summit are waiting for the temps and humidity to drop in order to run their snow machines. The ski and board shop is up and running and is currently checking in equipment in preparation for the next big Mammoth dump. Fingers crossed for another great winter season!
