We have most styles of Bikes available for short or long term rentals.

Many people have asked when we will be renting bikes again and why we are temporarily closed. 6 months ago I was found unconscious with a massive head injury, two broken vertebrae, and other injuries inflicted while in custody in the San Diego County Jail downtown. The alarming rise of deaths and injuries that are reported are clearly from the hands of the Correctional Officers who have no problem injuring or killing whomever they please. I was almost killed for no damn reason - records show the injuries occurred after my bail was already paid.

The recent law change AB-360 - prohibits using “excited delirium” as a medical diagnosis. That is how I was presented to the hospital, barely alive and extremely traumatized pumped full of so many medications it is disgusting. Some of them were heavy pain killers like fentanyl and immediately afterward it’s opposite Narcan…all while I was unconscious. I was arrested on May 19th and no one heard from me until May 23rd when I finally was tossed out of the hospital and onto the street. I had mushrooms I seldom use to treat anxiety and light depression - I take full responsibility for that. However, I cannot continue to be a victim and must speak out and take action.

I am having a very tough time dealing with this - on top of losing everything I worked so hard for for the second time - I just can’t believe this is something we accept. Some of the people you see on the street downtown would not be there if this issue was investigated more thoroughly - or at all.

Justice is impossible without identifying the problem. So I feel like I should speak up about this - regardless of how embarrassing it is and how awful I feel. Frequent panic attacks have been debilitating - so I hope sharing this here somehow helps with the healing process I know I must go through to get to the other side. Your support is important and needed - I can’t begin to describe how much I miss renting bicycles to you all.

This could have happened to anyone - the problem is not the Police - it is the horrendously despicable conditions that we don’t speak up about..places most San Diegans have never seen or experienced. I stepped up to save this business after we lost everything during Covid 19 - losing it all again for another pointless reason is heartbreaking. We never qualified for any funding so it was just one bike at a time over the course of 3 years. We still have a go fund me from that time that I’ll link below. The only way I can fight this is with your help, love, and patience.

Please share this. Much love to our Customers from all over the world. I miss you all and I aim to rebuild again.

Happy 4th of July! 1,128 days ago we promised that we would reopen our doors again, no matter what. We want you to know that we have recently accomplished this goal - and we only have You to thank. Covid 19 impacted us so negatively, completely, and so publicly I never thought for one second we would be denied any funding programs meant for businesses in need. Truth is, we have been and still are denied them all - and as frustrating as that may be we never lost hope because You kept calling and gave us the opportunity to do what we love to do. Where you spend your money really truly matters and we are a living testament to that.

Thank You so much for helping us stay in business. We still have a long way to go and we are about 40% back bike wise - feel free to send us some words of encouragement to our new address 1878 main st San Diego CA 92113. If you want to help us get the bikes we need the best way to do so is via Venmo and our handle is or you can just type in The Bike Revolution - I included a screenshot in there somewhere so you know that’s us.

To any other struggling small businesses that got wiped out like we did - you matter and we see you. Do not give up and keep fighting. We believe in You and we know you can do it, no matter what.
