El Magneto Ebike Works.

The SBEC mk2 is back in Las Vegas NV after 2 years. Taken at the Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire state park in Nevada. This is the updated version of the bike which we will call SBEC Mk.2.3. I replaced the handlebars to make the riding position slightly more forward to improve handling in corners and also to make the stance lower. The 24x3" tires are also replaced with a much lower profile and narrower 24x2.2 bmx slicks to combat severe tire deflection during higher degree of lean on sharp corners. the reduced over all diameter of the wheel did enhance climbing ability and acceleration of the bike. It did lose 1-2mph of it's 35mph top end on the flat but over all it's actually better than the old setup.

SBEC Valley of Fire run pt 2 Sliver Bullet eCruiser Valley of Fire ride pt.2

New ebike project building around a vintage 1999 GT LTS 2000 full suspension mountain bike. This project will be a spare parts build from my piles of parts that I have lying around. Yep enough to build a bike or two.

The plan is to install my 2015 10T MAC geared hub motor and run it at 48v 1kw peak, and turn it into a street cruiser. It's not intended for off road since the aluminum is vintage. also parts is getting hard to find so keeping it on road should minimize wear and tear.

oh just a photo shoot..... got new front fork and vintage saddle after all. =P

I like taking this bike on my road trips as it makes it easier for me to get around at my destination without trying to find a parking space specially at the Yosemite Valley at this time of the year. The bike can even climb up to the tunnel view spot to get it's photo taken. being a dual motor AWD ebike, the climb didn't overheat anything even the pavement temperature is reaching 124F. over all it's a successful road trip and photoshoot.

This is version 2 of my 2 bikes that was combined together to form this bike. Basically it's a dual motor all wheel drive ebike. Front geared hub motor(MAC 8T) and a mid drive motor(GNG gen2). The front motor peak at 1.3kw and the rear at 1kw. 2 em3ev 9fet 4110 controllers, dual throttle for dynamic control.
