ONE TEAM. ONE FAMILY. ONE PURPOSE.🥋💙

We’re incredibly proud of Jack and what he accomplished at the 🦁 Brave Jiu-Jitsu BRAVE Championship. Seeing him become a champion is special, but sharing that moment with the entire RADA family makes it even more meaningful.

At RADA, we celebrate each other’s victories, support each other through challenges, and grow together on and off the mats.

Because we’re not just a team that trains together. We’re a family united by the same purpose: to help each other become better, both in Jiu-Jitsu and in life.

Congratulations, Jack! We’re proud to have you representing RADA. 🏆

Your victory is our victory. 💙

LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON. 🥋🏆

Another weekend on the road, another competition, and another gold medal for our champion Dustin Shepard 🥇

This weekend at the Jiu-Jitsu World League in Stockton, Dustin stepped on the mats once again and came home as a champion. We couldn’t be more proud of the work and consistency he continues to put in.

But this weekend was even more special because his son, Jackson, competed as well — taking 2nd place and bringing home some hardware of his own. 🥈

There’s something special about seeing a father lead by example and then watching his son step onto the same mats.

Kids don’t just listen to what we tell them.
They watch what we do.

Congratulations, Dustin and Jackson! We’re proud to have you both representing RADA. 🥋❤️

THEY’RE PLAYING. THEY’RE MOVING. THEY’RE LEARNING JIU-JITSU. 🥋

Our 3–4 year old program is designed to make learning Jiu-Jitsu fun, active, and age-appropriate.

A big part of our classes includes obstacle courses, movement games, drills, and lots of little battles on the mats. They run, climb, crawl, balance, wrestle, and learn basic Jiu-Jitsu positions — all while having fun.

At this age, we want them to build a positive relationship with movement and the mats while slowly learning the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu.

Because sometimes the best way to learn is to play, try, fall, get back up, and try again. ❤️

🥋 Jiu-Jitsu classes for ages 3–4.

One more gold for RADA. 🥇

Last week, Las Vegas was home to the Jiu-Jitsu CON, bringing athletes together on the mats throughout the week and into the weekend.

Our white belt Dustin Shepard stepped up to compete and came home as a champion. 🥇

We’re incredibly proud of Dustin—not only for the result, but for the commitment, hard work, and courage he showed throughout the competition.

Winning gold is special. But for us, seeing our students put their training to the test and continue growing is what matters most.

Congratulations, Dustin! This is just the beginning. 🥋🔥

Girls who know how to protect themselves grow up differently. 🥋💙

Jiu-Jitsu gives them the tools to feel more confident, stand up for themselves, and know what to do if they ever find themselves in an uncomfortable situation.

But Jiu-Jitsu is also about learning to support the person next to you.

Helping each other learn a position.
Encouraging each other when something is difficult.
Growing stronger together.

They’re learning to defend themselves, while also learning that they don’t have to grow alone.

Strong girls. Supportive teammates. A stronger community.

They’re smiling. They’re playing. They’re learning.

And somewhere between the games and the Jiu-Jitsu, they’re becoming a little more confident every day.

Because for kids, learning doesn’t always look like sitting still and listening.

Sometimes it looks like running, laughing, falling, trying again, and learning how to move their bodies with purpose.

The mats become a place where they can be themselves while discovering everything they’re capable of.

And honestly, that’s the best part. 🥋💙
