Last night, the square dance community came together to honor the incredible John Marus, a true superstar caller in San Diego! With his amazing voice and fun, engaging personality, John has not only entertained us but has also taught so many other callers in our vibrant community. We are forever grateful for all the service he provides!

As a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, person after person presented John with a beautiful yellow rose, symbolizing our gratitude for everything he does. It was a night filled with joy and celebration, showcasing just how much we love and appreciate him. Square dancing simply wouldn’t be the same without John!

Thank you, John, for being such a vital part of our community. Here’s to many more nights of dancing and laughter together!

Last Thursday, the Spinners Square Dance Club hosted a luau night, where everyone donned their Hawaiian attire and enjoyed a lively evening with guests from Gold Rush. 🎉 Last Thursday at Single Spinners was an unforgettable baseball party night! ⚾ We served up delicious hot dogs with all the fixings, enjoyed great company, and danced the night away. John Marus rocked the house with his amazing calling, making it a night to remember! 🌭❤️ With more hot dogs than we could handle, it was a home run of a night!

The Spinners square dance club came together to celebrate the life of our beloved member, Richard Vallin. In a heartfelt tribute, everyone donned Richard's classic attire—his iconic blue shirt, big belt buckle, and blue jeans. As we danced in his memory, we were reminded of the wonderful moments we all shared. While he will be greatly missed, this special evening was a beautiful way to honor his spirit, ensuring he remains forever in our hearts.

From the pudding bar with flavors & toppings galore (plus a few healthy treats) to non-stop dancing, socializing, and bonding over our favorite dessert and killer moves, you made it a smashing success!
