I hope everyone enjoyed meeting the new guys on the team during last night's Dynasty Champions Club meeting. We had Dan Napoli on who showed a teaser of the upcoming Ironkids Documentary! We plan to show an extended length teaser to DCC members exclusively during next month's January Intel Session with a Q&A with Dan and the guys following.

San Diego Dynasty is proud to announce the addition of Joe Barrett to our roster! We believe we’ve found the final piece to the puzzle this offseason. While every major competitive team has made repeated attempts to topple Dynasty’s home, we’ve remained calm, collected, and steadfast in our belief that the right fit would come along and this offseason we have found all the right players (and coaches).

When choosing teammates, we look for more than just skill—we value heart, work ethic, and the drive to be here for the right reasons. Joe checks every box. He’s an absolute menace to play against, an elite-level gunfighter and communicator, and his dedication to his craft is unmatched. Joe brings a scrappy, relentless energy to the field, adding a crucial body to our ability to excel and pull games out in the chaos of the scramble.

Here’s what Joe had to say about joining the team:
“I’ve worked hard my entire career on both my game and my character, just to get this opportunity. Not many get to fight for the most legendary team of all time. The importance of the moment is not lost on me, and I will not squander it. The love of the game is my ‘why,’ and learning and growth are always what I chase. Finally playing under the great ones, in the environment they’ve created, is what I’ve been needing for the next level. I’m endlessly thankful to the guys of Dynasty for believing in me and giving me a home. My entire life brought me to this moment, and this is just the beginning. I’m ready to become the best version of me, and I am ready to finally win.”

Sadly, the time has come that we must bid farewell to one of the most generous and dedicated members of the San Diego Dynasty family, Victor Gamboa. For the past several years, Victor has been the backbone of our operation both behind the scenes and in the forefront, managing the pits with unmatched precision and leading one of the most efficient setups in all of paintball. His efforts provided an undeniable advantage to the team, ensuring we never had to worry about the details in the pit and we could always be at our best on the field.

But Victor wasn’t just a manager, he was a vital part of our coaching staff, providing valuable practice assets and constant support. He had an incredible ability to lift everyone’s spirits and one of the things we will miss the most is his signature practice tradition, “Victor’s POD.” Victor’s generosity and kindness knew no bounds; he’s the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation or bring you into the booth for a shopping spree.

Victor has earned some much-needed and well-deserved R&R, but his absence will be felt by every player, coach, and fan who came to know him. His passion, dedication, and quiet heroism behind the scenes played a huge role in the team’s success, and his presence will be impossible to replace.

Thank you, Victor, for everything you’ve done for Dynasty. You’ve left an indelible mark on this team and in the hearts of all who had the privilege of working with you. Dynasty and our fans everywhere will miss you.

San Diego Dynasty is proud to announce the addition of Coach Mike Bianca and Junior Brown to our coaching staff! Together, this powerhouse duo will bring a dynamic “two-headed dragon” approach to the organization, blending tactical analysis, cutting-edge statistics, and unparalleled leadership with some of the greatest minds in paintball.

Mike Bianca needs little introduction. A proven leader with an incredible story arc, Mike has taken great strides in this sport and he is adding a new chapter to his coaching legacy. His drive, vision, leadership mindset, and analytical approach make him the perfect addition to Dynasty’s arsenal. We are beyond excited to have Mike leading the charge as he brings his passion and expertise to the team.

Junior Brown will be stepping into a well-deserved expanded role coaching alongside Mike, offering much needed, real time statistical game analysis. Over the past two years, Junior has been immersed in learning under our previous head coach, SK. His deep understanding of the game from a statistical perspective, combined with his experience as a pro-level competitor and coach of multiple teams, makes him an invaluable asset to Dynasty. Junior’s passion for the sport, relentless commitment to the team, and sharp analytical skills ensure his contributions will continue to drive our success.

This dynamic pairing marks an exciting new chapter for Dynasty. With Mike’s leadership mindset and Junior’s statistical expertise, our players can rely on world-class coaching that not only sharpens their skills but also elevates the team’s overall performance. Behind the scenes, our incredible pit and management staff will continue to provide the best playing conditions, creating an environment where players can excel at every level.

Their combined experience, knowledge, and dedication to the game ensure that Dynasty remains at the forefront of competitive paintball. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have these exceptional leaders guiding the team into the future. The path ahead looks brighter than ever!

San Diego Dynasty bids a heartfelt farewell to our head coach, Kevin Bredthauer.

has been part of the Dynasty family since the very beginning in 2001, weaving in and out of the organization over the years. His brilliant mind as a statistician and his ability to lead with precision and passion have left an indelible mark on our team’s success. More than just a coach, Kevin has been a longtime friend and a vital part of our journey.

While it’s difficult to say goodbye, we hope the winds will one day carry Kevin back home to Dynasty. Who knows—he might start as a mid-level scout, but we have no doubt he could climb his way back to the big leagues.

Thank you, Kevin, for everything you’ve done for this team, on and off the field. You will be deeply missed, and we wish you all the best in your next chapter.

Chris Schehr has officially departed from San Diego Dynasty.

In his relatively short time with us, Chris proved to be an offensive weapon and a star, leaving an undeniable impact on and off the field. While we’re sad to see him go, we’ve always supported our players in pursuing opportunities that align with their goals—even if that means accepting offers we simply cannot match.

Over our 25-year history, Dynasty has weathered countless transitions. What makes us special is our resilience, our ability to foster talent, and the unwavering commitment of those who choose to play for the love of the game and the pursuit of championships—not just a payday.
