Triton Submarines and @fivedeeps have broken the world record for deepest dive ever in a manned submersible! We are thrilled to announce that the Triton 36,000/2 Hadal Exploration System successfully dived multiple times to the deepest point on planet Earth: Challenger Deep within the Mariana Trench. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Victor Vescovo set a new deep-diving record becoming the first human to make multiple dives, solo, to its hadal depths in the DSV Limiting Factor reaching a maximum depth of 10,928m / 35,853ft deep, 16m/52ft deeper than any previous manned dive. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Following Victor's two solo dives, the Triton designed and built submersible successfully conducted a further three dives in the Mariana Trench.
