What an incredible weekend of racing! The 2026 ROAR Electric Off-Road 1/10th Scale Dirt Nationals are officially in the books, and we are still buzzing from the energy, intense battles, and community spirit that filled the building.

First and foremost, a massive CONGRATULATIONS to all of our newly crowned National Champions and podium finishers! Watching the absolute best in the business push their limits on this layout was nothing short of spectacular.

A special congratulations to SDRC’s own Austin Riley for landing his first National Championship by dominating the 21.5 2WD Buggy class! Austin, when you’re ready, we have a nice place for your hardware in the trophy room.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every single competitor who made the trip out. The level of professionalism, sportsmanship, and graciousness was world-class. You all made this landmark event unforgettable.

While we will all be watching the best 1/10 scale off-road RC drivers work out who gets to take home the ROAR National Championship hardware tomorrow, I do want to remind our practice crowd that drone racing will take place on Monday evening at 5PM.

You are welcome to come get a couple hours of run time on the track and then stay to watch the drones duel it out.

Before we drop the schedule, a quick heads-up on Track Limitations:
• ROAR Participants: No driving on the fresh surface until Thursday.
• Break-in Crew: To help us prep the dirt, please bring 2wd/4wd Buggies and 2wd Stadium Trucks only.
• Tires: Slicks only!

• Mon & Tue: Open Practice @ 2:00 PM
• Wed: Open @ 2:00 PM | Club Racing @ 7:00 PM (Note: All pit spots must be cleared after racing!)
• Thu: Open @ 8:00 AM | Practice @ 9:00 AM (Doors close 8:00 PM SHARP)
• Fri–Sun: Open @ 8:00 AM until the final buzzer! (Check the flier)

Last Call Before the Nationals!

Tomorrow is the final Wednesday of Club Racing before the big show! If you’re hitting the dirt for the Nationals, this is your absolute last opportunity to dial in your setup on the current surface before we close for the build.

The Grip Factor:
Expect tomorrow’s track conditions to be a near-match for Nationals Mains Day (Sunday the 17th). If you want to know exactly how your car will handle when the pressure is at its peak, you need to be here tomorrow night.

The Build Is On:
We aren't wasting any time. We’re pulling pipe immediately after the last race tomorrow night!

While we normally knock out track builds over a Saturday and Sunday… we are shifting the schedule for this one. By starting Thursday morning, we are giving ourselves an extra couple of days to shape, test, and (if needed) make adjustments. This extra time ensures we create the absolute best racing experience SDRC has ever offered.

Call for Volunteers:
We’re bringing a massive Chris Raymond design to life, and we need your help to make it a reality! Whether you have a few hours or a whole day, you can make a difference.
Beyond the dirt work, there’s a checklist of facility prep to tackle. Helping out ensures an elite experience for everyone competing in the ROAR event.

We are going big for this one. Chris Raymond has an historic design planned that is truly commensurate with a National Championship.
• Friday, May 1 (Tomorrow): Club Racing.
• Wednesday, May 6: LAST CHANCE to rip the current layout! We are pulling pipe immediately after racing.
• Thursday, May 7 – Saturday, May 9: Track Build. Everyone is welcome to help! Come be a part of the dirt-moving magic.
• Sunday, May 10 – Monday, May 11: Piping and final touches.
• Monday, May 11 – Tuesday, May 12: Open practice to begin track seasoning.
• Wednesday, May 13: Club Racing.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: To keep the playing field level, individuals participating in the ROAR Nationals are PROHIBITED from driving on the new layout prior to Thursday, May 14.

⚠️ PIT SPACE: All driver pit equipment must be removed from the facility at the conclusion of racing on Wednesday night, May 13.

• Saturday, May 16: Doors open @ 8:00 am. 3 Rounds of Qualifying.
• Sunday, May 17: Doors open @ 8:00 am. TRIPLE A-MAINS for all classes!
