Kajukenbo is a well-respected, self-defense based martial art that was created between 1947 and 1949 in what was then known as the U.S. It is considered by many to be the first self-defense style developed in the United States (Black Belt Magazine, 1994). Season's Greetings students! Our 16th annual End of the year Pot Luck, Variety show and Raffle is this Saturday, December 9th from 1030 to about 1245pm. Sign up sheet for a talent and a dish to bring is on our board. Uniforms are mandatory as we will be taking our class photo. Also, don't forget to bring a dollar or two for a raffle ticket. Who knows you might win that smart TV!

Hi students, about a week ago recreation center staff tried calling everyone to cancel classes for today, June 13. My apologies for cancelling last minute. Mr. James' daughter invited me and my family to her high school graduation. Make up class will be determined at a later date. Thank you for understanding and see you all next class, this Thursday or Saturday.

Due to a pipe break and the parking lot being closed, we will not be having class Saturday, May 28th. Make up date is to be announced.
