Here is pictorial evidence of our last two Saturday wrestling activities. January 6 the varsity boys team competed at the San Clemente Rotary Varsity Invitational. Also on January 6, the girls team competed at the Queen of the Lake. Then on January 13 the frosh and JV team competed at the John Bright Memorial Invitational. On the same day, the boys, varsity team competed at the Jim Londos Memorial Varsity Invitational.
The lessons learned at all 4 events include accountability and gratitude. As a head coach, with nearly 27 years of youth sports experience, I strive to practice these two lessons daily.
However, I am reminded daily that our student athletes must learn these two lessons early and to find examples to practice and put into action these lessons when possible.
