And just like that, Maccabi 2026 has come to a close 💙 What a bittersweet feeling to leave new friends after such a special week, but to also bring home medals, memories, and stories to our families. We are so grateful to have spent this time with athletes from our sister city, Sha’ar HaNegev 🇮🇱 What a blessing! Walking in as one large community felt truly magical.

Thank you to the athletes for giving it your all and truly representing how hardworking, kind, and fun San Diego is. Thank you to our coaches and staff for inspiring our teens, your dedication is what carries us through. And thank you to the parents, for trusting us to give your child the best week ever, and supporting from the sidelines.

Before we represent San Diego at the JCC Maccabi Games®, we're coming together to give back to the community that supports local sports.

Join us on Tuesday, June 30 at Kearny Mesa Recreation Center as we partner with JCC Cares and the City of San Diego Parks & Recreation Department for a hands-on beautification project. Together, we'll help refresh and improve a community space that serves athletes and families year-round.

This is more than a service project—it's our first chance to build team chemistry, make new friends, and show what Team San Diego is all about.
