Lifting every single day and your body still looks the same? This might be why 💪
Strength training is one of the best things you can do for your metabolism, your hormones, and your fat loss. But if you're making any of these 5 mistakes, your muscles have no reason to grow.
1️⃣ You've been using the same 10 lb dumbbells for months
Muscle grows when it's challenged. That's called progressive overload, slowly asking your body to lift a little more over time. If the weight feels easy, it's time to go heavier.
2️⃣ You switch up your workout every day
Forget "muscle confusion." Your body needs repetition to get stronger. Stick with the same structured plan for at least 4 weeks so you can actually track your progress and build on it. Longer is even better.
3️⃣ You're doing 15+ reps of everything
If you can easily push past 15 reps, the weight is too light. Go heavier and aim for 10 to 12 reps where those last few feel truly hard. That's where muscle growth happens.
4️⃣ You're cramming in 8 or more exercises
More isn't better. 5 to 7 exercises done with real intensity will do far more than a 20 move workout. Fewer exercises, more effort.
5️⃣ You never take a rest day
Here's what most women don't realize. Your muscles don't grow while you lift. They grow while you recover. Training 7 days a week keeps your body stressed and stuck. Give yourself at least 2 rest days every week 💛
Train smarter, not longer. Your body will thank you.
