Happy International Women’s Day from Rising Tide! On this day, we celebrate the women and allies who fought for our rights to gender equality and those who continue the fight for reproductive autonomy and protection against gender-based violence.
In the not-so-distant past, dragon boat was a sport that was exclusively for men, but today, it’s one of a growing number of mixed gender sports, and the only sport with a breast cancer division! We’re so proud of the crazy strong women on our team, and grateful for the many female paddling role models we’ve gotten to meet through this sport!
Megan did, in fact, come as close to JQ as she’d like. Team had a blast at retreat this past weekend, shout out to Alex and Becky for planning and running the activities!!
