Super fun overnight with a great group. Got the party started in a foggy grey light setting for some medium size Yellowfin that really wanted to bite. Made a short move and stumbled on some not so friendly bigger grade Yellowfin. They all took some coaxing on that light line but ya know we got em one way or another. Finished our day bouncing from kelp to kelp for a few more bag fillers. Thank you guys again for coming out!

Took the boyz out in flat calm weather for some regulation tuna fishing. Staked our claim early and had a very casual start. Things immediately ramped up as soon as we let our choives fly. Pretty much all you want Yellowfin Skipjack mix until we threw in the towel and headed east. Thanks guys for handling business for us!

Took Ken and the boyz on a tropical adventure. Day 1 started off with a bang, bagging a nice wahoo in the grey light. After that we did the tuna shuffle throwing on a nice layer and landing about half of what we hooked ( light line and sea lions). We left and went looking for kelps down the beach. Ran into a few marlin one of which was a giant Blue Marlin that ate our short marauder but came undone. Day 2 we scoured the ocean all day in search of Mahi. Found a few scrap kelps and caught a couple but they weren’t the ones. Around five PM we came across a 5 foot kelp for a nice hit on the mahi mahi. Things are changing everyday and we are staying optimistic as you could find yourself in the goldmine at any second! Thanks again Ken and friends!

Had a blast with the Crockett Striper Club! Made it to where we needed to be. Started our morning on the anchor and enjoyed a mid pace pick on beautiful grade Bluefin. Forecast was a little off so we pounded out a little further hoping for a few more. Got in the zone and skipped around our kite bait with zero interest on multiple schools. Switched gears real quick and stopped the boat on some really hungry 50-80 lbers for an epic sundown finisher. Instant full boat bend on 30lb , size 1 Nemisis circle hooks and of course our G 6460-6’ flyline setups. Had some pretty epic battles and we came out on top getting our quota and then some! Thank you guys again for coming out with us!

Another fun filled day at the islands with Lance and friends. Some good opportunities throughout the day. The Yellowtail today fell for the yo-yo jig, Rapala x rap, surface iron and of course the mighty live sardine. Great fishing with you guys once again!

Pretty epic bank fishing for those slug Yellowtail! We had our fair share of casualties but that comes with the territory. We stayed put in perfect weather for about 10 hours putting in the rail time. Lots of hard won battles, rocked fish and overall action. We pulled it late afternoon and slid into the east. Day 2 we enjoyed steady action on Mahi and even released our first marlin of the season! Thanks Tim and crew for coming all the way from the great state of Texas to join us!

Well the limit style troll em ups were fun while they lasted! Took bill and the boys long distance on their 1.5 day. Had our quota by noon and pointed east from there. Ran across some stray dorado and a kelp loaded with 2 lb yellowfin. Fed them some anchovies and let em swim to fight another day! Thanks again guys!

Pretty much sums it up out there! 3 way jig strikes and full speed night time action for the elevator boys. It’s a bit of a trek but we were happy to make it after some “fair” results in the overnight world. Thanks guys CYA in 2 weeks!

Another fun day of catching with an awesome family! They came all the way from Quebec to enjoy some fun in the sun and to hopefully capture some prime table fare. They did all that and then some. Truly a pleasure to take em out as they had the right vibes and got the job done! Thank you again!

The islands keep cranking out Yellowtail! You’ll have to work for it though. With less boat traffic it pretty much puts a bullseye on your back for the seals to wreak havoc. It’s definitely a double edge sword as boats put fish down but seals try for every fish you hook when it’s a light crowd. Either way it’s worth it and if you bob and weave enough you’ll put together a catch! Thanks again Chris and friends handling business.
